HISTORY: I bought this vehicle from a private college in Belton, MO. Before this it was used as a farm truck locally. Has been sitting in storage for 2 years, started and driven occasionally. I have no purpose for owning this vehicle, so it is for sale. 1991 Ford E-350 Type III Ambulance. Has a 7.3 liter diesel engine, 3 speed automatic with overdrive. engine idler, cruise control, power steering, am/fm stereo, rear wheel drive, and 16" wheels with dualies in the rear. This ambulance was decommissioned as an emergency ambulance some years ago due to a fire where the refrigirator unit was. All the wires running to this section of electrical have been cut so there is no risk of fire. This has caused some electrical problems with the vehicle, including the turn signals, AC/heat blower fan (not sure if AC works properly), and dashboard lights. AC DC converter does not seem to be present on vehicle. Not sure if all other electrical components work, SOLD AS IS. The transmission also leaks fluid when the vehicle is running. Runs and shifts great when started, needs new batteries. Tires have good tread but are older. Vehicle wieghs roughly 10,500 pds. Vehicele is for sale locally, I can end the auction at any time due to sale or other. This vehicle would be a great starter project for party bus, safe storage, RV, camper, or a work truck.
