You are looking at one rare Garage find, 1972 Chevrolet Cheyenne 10 Pickup. I found this one owner truck with 55k actual miles. It has the original 350 motor with a 350 automatic transmission, factory power steering, power brakes, and factory Air conditioning that does still work and blows cold air and still retains the factory compressor, nothing was done other than replaced aged belts, they were not broke(I still have them)just aged. The interior is completely original including the seats, carpet, door panels, dash, dash pad,original jack, headliner, sun visors, and all chrome and interior trim, even the cigarette lighter appears to have never even been pushed in. The chalk marks from the production line are still on the firewall.The passenger floor if you look in pictures still has plastic covering carpet from 1972, it has never been removed. Look at picture under the dash at the condition of the firewall insulation pad and backing, this is original, not replaced, it still looks brand new, it has never been removed or changed. This is truly a unique truck, it has not had a bunch of aftermarket parts hung on it, it was removed from the garage in this condition, it was only washed and cleanded up a bit, It was taken out of garage in 2003 by his wife when he passed away, His wife then had it taken to get serviced, tuned up, oil changed, 4 new tires and then put it back in garage in his memory and it has been in garage till now. She passed away a few weeks ago and I purchased it from her son, I have the title showing original purchase date of 3-3-1972. I also have an Actual mileage statement signed by him. It is complete with all documents, Including original Protect-o-plate still attached, Original sales invoice dated 3-3-1972, Original 1972 Owners manual still in plastic, original registration, original first inspection from 1972, and some inspections and registratration renewals afterward. These documents are like new condition and are all very legible, nothing faded or un-readable, original 3 year free oil change certificate from dealership, and all records of anything that pertains to the truck, Original Invoice shows all options and equipment at time of sale. It was sold here in Missouri just a few miles away at the local Chevrolet dealership, it has always been in Missouri since new. The truck was repainted in 1984 due to the green part of the paint fading, the only metal that was replaced was one left rocker panel, it was damaged, The rest of truck was only sanded and painted, no body work was done, it retains its original metal and has had nothing other than the one rocker replaced or worked, you can look in it, out it, around it, under it and you can see it has never been touched, it was not rusted and is still not rusted, it was done in October of 1984 and I have the invoice showing exactly what was done at that time, Under the truck is as solid as above, I did not paint or undercoat or try to hide anything under or around truck, it has not been touched. You are welcome to Roll around under this truck and you will be amazed how solid it is, Wheel wells, rockers, cab corners, above rear wheels,floor boards, bed,it is all solid, this is truly a very solid truck, The inside of bed was not ever painted (body shop invoice even states don't paint inside of bed) and retains original looks and 2-tone paint color. Interior was not touched. It appears No chrome, bumpers, grille or any body parts have ever been replaced,(other than one rocker) they are all original and in near perfect condition. Everything on the truck works except the original radio, it does not work. The rest of truck I believe everything works good, I checked wipers, lights, horn, a/c and most everything I could think of and they all work, all dash lights, even the dome light works with the doors. I believe it will be hard to find a truck this solid and still original as this truck is. Everytime I walk around it I am amazed even more how cool and unique this truck really is. I got this truck out on the highway and ran it and it is absolutely amazing, this truck runs and drives and handles like a brand new truck, it has not a rattle, a shake, a pull, a vibration nowhere, it is solid, you can take your hands off the wheel at 70mph and it steers perfect, steering as tight as when new. I would drive this truck across the United States tomorrow. A couple things needing attention, 1: the radio does not work, 2: the transmission has a small leak when it sits. 3: If you let it set a few days you got to pump it while cranking to get it to start(usually 20 times or so). the carb seems to bleed down after a couple two or three days, after that it starts perfect, if you start it everyday it's ok. just when it sits a few days. I encourage everyone to come take a look at this truck in person, I believe it will amaze you also, Other than a few minor rock chips and very minor chips and scratches and maybe a tiny ping dent or two, (It is a 1972) and its been driven and as close to new as it may be, its not new.
