Vehicle Detail

This is a nice car. Has led a sheltered life. The car currently has a target 350 engine which is a four bolt main and has very few miles. The car has a new duel exhaust with turbo mufflers, professionally installed. The six cylinder engine was recently removed and the target engine installed with the correct oil pan. The car has the original powerglide transmission, the original mount was just replaced. The rear end has been upgraded to a five bolt pattern with a rear end out of a 66 or 67 model Chevy II, I don't remember the exact year. The front has been upgraded also with the five bolt pattern and upgraded drum brakes, which were rebuilt. The car has manual steering and brakes. Everything is tight and works like it is suppose to. There is no rust through in the car, the trunk and floors are solid. There is some surface rust on the back bumper. The car has it's original weatherstripping. Some places may have the original paint, but it has been repainted the original red many years ago. A nice spray job would make this car show ready. There are numerous scrapes around on the body from years of use. I was told this is the original interior, but it is hard to believe a interior could look this good and be almost fifty years old. We took out the rear seat and the original hog rings were holding the seat covers, I would expect more wear on an original interior. Either way it is nice and looks right. The original correct date coded six cylinder engine and accessories comes with the car. Along with the engine is the original rearend, spindles with brakes, and thirteen inch wheels with beautiful undamaged hubcaps. Everything works on the car. The glovebox light even works. The original AM radio, which has an aftermarket FM converter works. The heater and defroster work. The dome light functions properly. The duel horns blow loud. The wipers, lights, blinkers all operate correctly. NO RESERVE. BID TO BUY. DRIVE HOME. The side trim on both sides is missing, the holes are still in the car. There are many new parts and pieces. Things replaced with new when upgrading the engine such as battery, plug wires and master cylinder are installed. Drive anywhere with this car. This car was built to drive. Windows all roll up fine. Windshield has been replaced in the past. Priced for quick sale. Call with any questions. I expect to be paid a 500 dollar deposit at end of auction and balance in seven days. We do not have titles in Alabama for pre 1975 model vehicles. Most states honor our laws. The car has a vintage tag which stays with the car and is valid untill 2099 along with the Alabama Tag receipt. Will be sold with a bill of sale. If you require more paper work for your state bring that and I will sign it. Call with any questions. Thanks Barry 205-915-6440
