Vehicle Detail

This is an exceptional original example of the 1958 MGA with only 22,000 documented miles on the clock. Rust free and very tight, this little MG drives just as it should. The engine was rebuilt around a thousand miles ago and runs very strong. Drive it home to anywhere you live. It has had one repaint in the original old english white and also a complete new red leather interior. It has an aftermarket wood steering wheel and shift knob to dress it up a bit. New tires and the wire wheels have been checked, straightened and a super balance job and it drives great. Engine, transmission, rear end and clutch are all in fine shape. This is one MG that you will not have to trailer to the car shows. It is too much fun to drive. I am liquidating my english car collection and also have an excellent low milage showroom new TR4 to sell. that is listed in a separate auction I am located in western NC. All my cars are low milage, rust free and very nice. This is not a distress sale and I am not giving them away. They are however great cars and my reserve is very low. Call me at 828 385 3100 if you have questions On Jul-19-10 at 06:38:31 PDT, seller added the following information: Several have asked about maint records and I have a stack of them going back 20 years or so, including the engine rebuild about 1K miles ago . Also got a question about side curtains and tonneau cover. It has good side curtains, but no tonneau. On Aug-04-10 at 04:14:35 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had several questions about the condition of the engine compartment. The engine compartment has not been detailed when it was painted or when the engine was rebuilt. It is not bad looking, but you will not want to eat in there. The engine is very clean with the exception of a very small seepage around the gasket of the rear side cover. I have that gasket, but it doesn't drip on the floor and is not as yet bad enough to change. This is not a $30K show car. It has not had or needed a frame off restoration. It has had everything it needed to maintain it as an exceptionally nice looking , reliable and great performing classic. Fly in and drive it home.
