This is a 1980 Caprice Classic 2dr. That's in decent shape; either fix up or drive as is. I purchased this vehicle in 2005 from the original elderly owner w/only 43,492 miles. They drove it during the Ohio winters (I only drove this vehicle during the summer months only,and keep it garage during the winters) which as you can see from the pics, has rotted out the lower door bottoms, (which are not visible unless you lay on the ground and look under the doors). Also, the lower rear sheet metal on either side of the trunk are also rotted through (see pics). The frame is solid, just scaly rust, the floor pans seem o.k., just rusty. Also, the previous owners had car repainted some time ago: paint is in good condition, but their are some areas of chipping. Interior is in great condition. Current mileage is 50,243. This is the 267, 4.4L V8; not fast by any means, but great on gas mileage. This vehicle has air ,tilt, power windows, power locks, and cruise control, however the air, and cruise DO NOT work. The engine runs fine and strong, but it does leak some oil on the driveway, as well as the tranny a bit. Since owning the vehicle, I have installed: NEW WHITE VINYL HALF TOP(4YRS AGO), NEW HEATER CORE (3YRS AGO), NEW HEATER HOSES (LAST WEEKEND)NEW RE-MANUFACTURED ALTERNATOR, ALL NEW BRAKE LINE FROM THE JUNCTION BOX TO THE FRONT AND REAR, NEW FRONT CALIPERS & PADS, NEW REAR DRUMS & SHOES, NEW WHEEL CYLINDERS, NEW MASTER CYLINDER, NEW REAR AIR SHOCKS, NEW VALVE COVER GASKETS (INSTALLED LAST WEEKEND), NEW SPARK PLUGS, WIRES, CAP, & ROTOR (ALL INSTALLED LAST WEEKEND), NEW TRANNY COOLER LINES (LAST YEAR), AND A NEW AIR CLEANER. ALSO I REPLACED THE OLD SAGGING HEAD LINER, WITH BLACK HEAD LINER MATERIAL THAT I PURCHASED FROM A FABRIC STORE (I DONT HAVE THE VISORS DONE YET, BUT THEY ARE IN THE TRUNK IF YOU WISH TO RE-ATTACH). Overall I think this is a great vehicle to just cruise in or just fix up the rust issues, and put a 350 V8 in for more power. This Vehicle is being sold AS IS, I have too many other projects to do, and no time, and room for this car. THE RIMS, TIRES, RADIO, SPEAKERS, AND BATTERY ARE NOT FOR SALE WITH THIS PURCHASE. I'LL PUT ON SOME OTHER TIRES AND ANOTHER BATTERY I HAVE LAYING AROUND. Vehicle must be picked up in person, OR I can drive anywhere in Ohio only, up to 50miles free, then I'll charge .50 cents per every mile after.
