Vehicle Detail
Hello. Selling my Disco II now. This is the third vehicle that I have sold on eBay...see my seller history. I will now endeavor to describe it: This is a Land Rover, not a Honda. It is in perfect running condition at the moment. Expect that it will require your attention to stay that way. This is a driver enthusiast's and off road enthusiast's vehicle...a Land Rover enthusiast. I am the second owner, and I bought it from a relative who is a long-time Land Rover enthusiast. All of the modifications done were done by him, none were done by me. I am not a Land Rover enthusiast, or even a "car-guy". I don't know nothing 'bout nothing, but I have enjoyed driving this thing. The title is held by our Credit Union. After the sale the buyer will give payment in full and receive the truck and a bill of sale. Then I will (next business day) pay off my loan- wait for the title from Harrisburg and transfer it upon receipt. Stuff the first owner did to the car before I bought it:Upgraded the suspension with Old-Man-Emu shocks and springs for sportier ride and an extra two inches of lift.ARB front bumper/pull bar was custom painted and installed. The ding in this bumper in the photos was already on it when it was installed (it was a test accessory for a Land Rover enthusiast magazine). This vehicle has never been in an accident. I think it was around $1500, but you can research yourself at http://www.arbusa.com/. Buyer also gets original bumper. The head unit was switched out with an Alpine model that works with iPod/iPhone. It also has Sirius Sat. capabilities and was activated when I bought it. When the subscription expired and I did not renew, I unplugged the interface and tuner and antenna so I could have more glove-box room...but buyer gets it all. Head unit also supposedly has video capabilities and when I bought it custom LCD headrests were installed on the two front seats. I replaced the passenger headrest with the original but I can't seem to get the driver's side headrest off to replace it. Like I said, I am not a car guy, so I gave up immediately. It appears that little plastic clips once allowed for the fine adjustment once were in place, but all the little things were apparently broken by the previous owner in his attempt to install this video system, which apparently never fully worked. My guess is that a professional car audio/video person could sort it all out quickly...it's just not my thing and I never cared enough. Buyer gets 4 original headrests, two video headrests, and two OEM spare headrests.Theres a waterproof seat-cover set that includes front seats & head-rests, rear seats and rear armrest. Custom made for this vehicle by "some company in Britain".Custom window tintingCustom non-reflective paint on hood (chipping-see photos) Tow packageAll this (above-mentioned) extra stuff comes with the car. If the buyer doesn't want it, that is their choice...no discount will be given. There's a ding on the front bumper as described and shown on photos. There's some paint flecks from apparent road paint...see photos. There's a rip in the leather armrest- driver's seat...see photos. Other slight imperfections and bumps and rubs (see photos). KBB $11,200 according to my calculations..."Good Condition". Sold "AS-IS"...no warranty implied or offered. On Aug-02-10 at 16:12:54 PDT, seller added the following information: Almost forgot...the rear brakes are BRAND NEW (two weeks old).Front braked new in December.
