Vehicle Detail
1974 Ford Bronco This truck is not running! I have had this Bronco for a year now, I drove it last summer and then wanted to redue the head to make it run better for this summer, I have since lost interest in the project and am letting it go. The head was removed and redone by Elsasser machine shop here in new york, I have placed the head on but have not torqued it down. It has all new springs, valves, pushrods. This truck ran good prior to removal, and did not blow any smoke. It has a converted three speed on the floor with a Mr. Gasket shifter, 4 wheel drive works fine. The tires are old and dry roted and will need to be replaced for safe driving. The truck was running on the auxillary fuel tank with all new hoses, this is how it came to me and I do not know what is wrong with the main tank, never tried to use it. The body on this truck was restored some time in the 1980's and looks really clean, there are some small dings but overall this truck presents itself well, the hood has been repainted in flat black and white. I have the original hubcaps for the truck and one extra bumper and winshield wiper motor. The interior of the truck is very clean with a tear on the dash pad, all seats are original and in great shape, and it has the wiper motor cover in great shape. There is an indoor outdoor carpet for a rug in the back and no carpet in the front. The floorboards were repaired during its original restoration but it was not professionally done. All lights and accesories work and it still has the original AM radio, the original side mirror is broken and will need to be replaced. Overall this truck is very solid, if you have the mechanical skills to finish the head this is a great project for you. Please ask any questions?
