For auction 1974 1/2 Maico GP440. Starts, runs, rides, and goes through all gears great. Looks basically clean with silver frame, tank, and black fenders as you can see in the photos. The frame and fenders however have scratches, it needs a seat cover and grips. The tank has a small ding which looks bigger in the photos. The engine was rebuilt 6 years ago and has about 8 races on it. Rebuild included new piston and rings, new connecting rod, all bearings and seals. New clutch basket, hub, primary sprocket and chain. Has PVL ignition and cut down ignition cover, taper bored 38 mm Mikuni carburetor, custom 13 5/8" Works Performance shocks, stainless steel spokes and nipples, Akront Rims, aluminum 4 speed rear hub, aluminum tank with a GP cap, wide stainless footpegs, new Magura levers and perches, new twist throttle, Dunlop D756 rear tire with 3 rides, Michellin Starcross front tire with 1 ride. Has Renthol bars, Circle F pipe, rear sproket with 1 ride, Billet front brake clamp, and Maico Only brake shoes. The cables are all in great condition. Also has longer Yamaha front brake lever and later model left side brake stay. Stops better than most any vintage race bike and I have had several hole shots. It will take away any excuses. I have clear title and pink slip but the last registered in 2009. Will also provide bill of sale. Payment deposit by Paypal of $500 due within 48 hours of the end of auction and full balance due within 7 days of the close of the auction by certified check or (cash if in person). Funds must be clear and in my hands before I will release the bike. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I will deliver up to 50 miles from my home in Chino, CA 91710 free of charge or the buyer can arrange for pick-up at my work in Orange, CA 92868. I can also crate and deliver to Forward Air in Los Angeles for an additional $100 but shipping arrangements and payment must be made by the buyer.
