THATS RIGHT. THIS AUCTION IS FOR TWO CARS. One is a restored convertible, and second an identicle coupe parts car. Up for auction is a classic 1961 Mercedes 220SE. Been in storage for over 30 years! This beautiful classic is a Convertible conversion. It started its life as a beautiful California coupe owner by a very prominant individual and was professionally converted in to an exquiste convertible with all reinforcements done. This beauty has a restoration job that that is almost complete. Its in great running and driving condition. This beauty has brand new paint, new Mercedes interior, new carpeting, and new Mercedes canvas soft convertible top. Everything is original factory. This amazing fuel injection classic is powered by its original matching numbers straight 6 cylinder engine, and smooth shifting manual transmission. The clutch works great and so do the steering and brakes. This classic comes with the original 1961 blue California plates! Completed: Complete body stripping and repaint, complete leather interior, complete carpeting, complete soft top canvas. Left to finish: Refinishing the wood dash area, secure the carpeting, upholster the door panels (original material is included to use), complete the convertible frame and secure the new canvas top on it. This beauty starts right up and drives great. CAR # 2 Included with this beautiful restored convertible and a COMPLETE 1961 220SE *sunroof* parts car (w/no title). Complete with engine and transmission, complete interior, bumpers, lights, electrics, grill, doors, panels, glass, and more. *Notice: In the pictures of the parts car, the lights, bumpers, and some other parts have been removed from the car but are included (example lights, bumpers). Up for auction is a classic 1961 Mercedes 220SE. Been in storage for over 30 years! This beautiful classic is a Convertible conversion. It started its life as a beautiful California coupe owner by a very prominant individual and was professionally converted in to an exquiste convertible with all reinforcements done. This beauty has a restoration job that that is almost complete. Its in great running and driving condition. This beauty has brand new paint, new Mercedes interior, new carpeting, and new Mercedes canvas soft convertible top. Everything is original factory. This amazing fuel injection classic is powered by its original matching numbers straight 6 cylinder engine, and smooth shifting manual transmission. The clutch works great and so do the steering and brakes. This classic comes with the original 1961 blue California plates!

Completed: Complete body stripping and repaint, complete leather interior, complete carpeting, complete soft top canvas.

Left to finish: Refinishing the wood dash area, secure the carpeting, upholster the door panels (original material is included to use), complete the convertible frame and secure the new canvas top on it.

This beauty starts right up and drives great.

Included with this beautiful restored convertible and a COMPLETE 1961 220SE *sunroof* parts car (w/no title). Complete with engine and transmission, complete interior, bumpers, lights, electrics, grill, doors, panels, glass, and more.
