This 2008 MINI Clubman was purchased in January 2009; it had been the dealer's demonstration car and it had about 4,000 miles on it when I bought it. I have regularly serviced it at Mini/Peabody (Boston area), the largest MINI dealership in US. It is a beautiful MINI Clubman, in outstanding condition. There are no mechanical problems, and I have regularly had the tires rotated. I do a significant amount of road driving and I am averaging 36.8 miles per gallon of gas, as you can see in one of the photos. MINI claims city 28 and road 37, and that seems to be accurate! Tires are run-flat, and they are the original tires although I understand that many people replace MINI run-flats with regular (and much less expensive) tires when it is time for a tire change. There is a space-saver tire, under the rear boot space; it has never been used. Mileage is almost all road miles at 42,290. This car is fabulous looking: probably the best exterior/interior CLUBMAN color combination -- very European looking: hot chocolate exterior with silver roof/silver mirrors, and silver Rear C pillar trim. It also has silver sport stripes on bonnet and rear doors. Inside is the best interior: hot chocolate lounge leather sport seats, trimmed in a cream edge. Chrome line interior, cream white color line (door panels), piano black dash/door rings, chocolate doors, and the dealer added the special black and white checkered flag dash panel -- and the checkered flag scuttles on the exterior -- the combination of hot chocolate, silver, black and white is stunning, very European, and great fun! The dealer also added the driving lamps, making the car have a vintage MINI look. Also extras include hot chocolate emergency brake and hot chocolate leather trim around shift knob. This car has a launch package which includes the heated front seats. Also has Convenience package of ulti-function sport leather steering wheel, keyless comfort access, center armrest, rain sensor wipers and auto headlights, comfort blue-tooth mobile prep, and auto dimming rear view mirror. Car also has premium package of dual pane panoramic sunroof, auto climate contrl. Interior includes the following, most of which are upgrades: on-board computer six air bags with side curtain air bag system dynamic stability control sport button (if you know MINI's, you know what this is!) Xenon headlamps auto-dimming ream view mirror comfort access keys (two sets) (come close to the door with the key in your pocket and it will open) six-speed manual trasmission -- great fun and easy to drive all-season run-flat tires upgraded sound system automatic AC dual pane sunroof -- automatic and flip-up convenience package -- blue tooth prep and MP3 will run through stereo control (so you can play your IPOD and your song lists will show on the screen) (See photo with "Get Back") invisishield protector on bonnet and bumper two sets of floor mats -- carpet with MINI emblem; and hard black rubber mats (front and back) There might be more, but this is all I can think of; there are few other options! Suggest going to MINI USA website and try "building" this car to see the retail price when new. The sticker price on this car was over $32,000. Edmund's TRUE MARKET VALUE suggests $20,225 as equipped. Kelly Blue Book suggests $20,345 as equipped. BUYER must pick-up car. I do a lot of road traveling and I just need a bigger car but I will hate to give this up. Non-smoker, original manuals, service records, all keys.
