Selling our 1997 Chevy 3500 (1-ton) pick up truck with Lockable LEER cap - runs good! CONTACT us if you would like to see it or make an offer. ALSO WILLING TO SELL WITHOUT CAP for a better price. PLEASE CONTACT us if you wish to buy this truck without the cap. ** Has 136,200 miles on it ** Automatic Transmission ** QUAD/Crew cab - 4 doors with large back seat ** V8 - 5.7 liter engine ** brake box for towing ** Class III Hitch ** We added the Leer Aluminum Cap recently to store landscape and garden supplies so the cap is a light beige color and the truck is white, but not that bad a combination - the cap is entirely functioning, lockable and has working and lockable side windows too. We replaced the parts that keep the windows open and up, so they will not bang down on your hands. :) ** Back seat is in great shape, but front seat has some wear that we mended with Gorilla tape, but still very functional. ** Does not have air conditioning, but does have a decent radio. ** History: we are 3rd owner - Faulker of West Chester had it for almost 6 years as a rental, a Landscaping company used it as a mow crew truck for about 7 years, and we now own it. ** CARFAX REPORT CAN BE EMAILED TO YOU - we have it - paid for this ourselves. ** Has some cosmetic damage on outside around bumper and on tailgate, but this is a good solid work truck. ** We also had our excellent mechanic go over it completely to make sure all was OK. ** Also, you have to open the driver side door from outside only as door panel has some damage inside. So, roll down the windown and open door that way - no biggie. No power windows anyway, so you can crank 'em down and open your door. We just do not have need of it any longer for storage of tools, etc. and have other means to tow our trailer so would like to find it a new home. Tools inside cab will have to come out, of course. They are NOT pictured in listing anyway. Book value on this is about $2500. Pintle hook/hitch in picture does NOT go with the truck. We need that.
