Up for bid is an original owner fully restored 1971 BMW 2002. Recently restored by original owner, motor runs strong and is mated to a 4 speed manual transmission that shifts smooth. Runs and drives excellent. Very clean interior no rips or tears in the seats or dash pad. exterior is in excellent condition. The body side moldings have some dings and dents in them around the car but are still very presentable and the chrome around the taillights have some minor pitting, as they are original parts. There are boxes of parts and manuals in the trunk that will come with the car as well. Overall the car is a very good example of a meticulous restoration. New tires, clutch, brakes all around includeing drums, rotors, and hardware. New windshield. 2 new factory rocker panels, 2 new factory front fenders. Rear shock mounts removed repaired. New tie rods, shocks, battery. Spies-Hecker paint, base-coat, clear coat. The car is registered with plates and has been garaged since restoration, with minor local drives on weekends during the summer and fall.
