Driven Daily. Needs some TLC. Un Planned must sell. Did not even wash it for photos. It is a 20 + year old used vehicle. Straight up: Sold as is Where is!!! With that said here goes. -New Bikini Top -Low Miles Six Cylinder (83k) -Comes With Hard Top -New Battery -New Weber Carburetor last summer 5+ more mpg and runs much stronger. Have not touched anything on it runs good to me as set. Some blue tape under hood was for marking lines wires in case I had to reconnect anything. Cost just under $400. Have all paper work and a great talk to a human 1-800# to webber. Note: Aluminum valve cover. Meant last summer to put a new gasket on it but did not, just torqued bolts. It could us one and I beleive I still have the new gasket which will come with it if found. -Mild lift-New Exhaust-Springs-Shocks(less than 3 years)-Master Cylinder -New 2 inch Hitch -Have Records and Receipts, work done Weber etc etc -FOUR extra Jeep tires and wheels in nice shape -New Fuel Pump-Filter-Coil + New Pickup Coil -September Inspected -All fluids-transmission- trans case- Pwr steering-Oil-Anti Freeze(Changed within last year Amsoil) (Above well over $1,000 in extras) TLC: -Will need welding around steering box common on early Jeeps. Still solid but mechanic said before next inspection. (Just haven't had time) -Wiper switch very stiff but works -Needs minor Body Work here/there -Heat & fan works great as is, some linkage needs reconnected , needs plastic cover over speed ometer, no radio -Front hubs are vacum. To lock in mechanic told me they need taken apart cleaned re-greased or buy after market manuel locking ones. Front axles turn fine. Rarely if at all needed or used 4WD. -Recent simple but can't find it problem. Only when very hot out (90+) and drive it hours at cruise. Jeep might shut down like ya turned switch off. Wait 1-2 hours. The Jeep fires right up and drive away. Never this problem last Fall/Winter/spring or last summer. Note: NOT the reason being sold!! I have changed (all new) fuel pump-filter-coil-- pickup coil in distributor, fire - fuel okay. Possibility's remaining-vapor lock? but why not last summer? (call Weber?)- Buy new fuel cap?-Gotta be simple! Like I said if it does it, wait 1-2 hours fires right up and you drive away. Cool out she runs fine all day all night. I have JUST bought a new fuel cap. No problems since? Is This It ? Several mechanics have told me its definitly a possibility and its a pain in butt simple problem. I only drive short distance when its 90++ degrees. Cool go anywhere. Lady does not want to sell it but unfortunately has to. Price is Right! Lotta extras at a good price. Just need to do the TLC. I've shared what I know, I'd expect the same if I were buying it.
