This vehicle is in EXCELLENT condition. I purchased it in 2009 from the previous owner and used it every few days as a daily drive while I waited for my Son to get his license. This was intended to be his first car. Since then we have moved on to another vehicle for him ( something more current that was left to him in a will from a deceased family member ) and now I need to sell this to make room. The vehicle was owned by the original owner for most of its life. It passed through the hands of 2 other owners after and then to me. I want to be up front now with the few down points to the vehicle. (1) There is a 2" scratch in the left front headlamp cover. (2) There is a dime sized clean ding at the very end of the hood - not noticable until youre over it and can be removed with paintless dent removal. (3) Right rear quarter panel has a 3" scratch. (4) Vehicle needs new stone shield decals - they dry and crack with age. Take a heat gun - peel them off and get a new set at www.944online.com and stick the new ones one. This happens with age and the car is over 25 years old. Other than that you are getting a GREAT car. Transmission shifts flawlessly, engine starts and runs flawlessly, no rattles, no clunks, no shimmies. Car stays straight at all speeds and handles like a Porsche. Tires have 75% tread on them - they are about a year old. Vehicle has been maintained. I have all original service orders and receipts from original owner. Timing belt was replaced at 30,000 miles. It was then re-tensioned every 3000 miles after. Alpine stereo system installed with new door speakers and sub woofer box mounted in hatch area. Interior is in great condition with only minor - and I stress MINOR - leather weathering on driver seat. No rips no worn panels. Hit it with some mink oil as you would an expensive leather jacket and it will be good as new. Leather loses it natural oils with age - again this car is over 25 years old so the seat needs a good rub. Rear privacy shade fully functional. Porsche OE Bag for removable roof panel included. Vehicle has electric sunroof that can lift up with motors OR be removed completely for that open roof experience. No fluid leaks from drivetrain - NO body leaks from rain or water etc etc. The bottom line is that this vehicle is a great daily drive with only 63,305 original miles. you will not find a 944 in this condition with the low mileage for this price. I need to move this vehicle FAST due to an overcrowded driveway and house extension construction starting in 10 days so lets make a deal folks. I do have a car fax for this vehicle and Car Fax prices the vehicle at $6,670.00 I have stated everything that I can think of with this car - but please ask questions if you have them. I have not and will not attempt to dress up or cover up the few flaws that I have mentioned because I do not want a potential buyer to think that I tried to put "cover-up" on them to deceive.
