1992 LT1 Chevrolet Corvette with only 61,095 miles. New tires and new battery. A/C blows cold. AM/FM/Cassette does not work reliably, there is a bad ouput wire but the head unit is fine. The car has the adjustable shocks but this does not work (very common) as the gears on top of each shock always break. It is stuck in touring mode and the car rides fine. The optispark is bad (very common) and I tried to replace it, but I got stuck at the step where the balancer pulley has to come off. I cannot get it off. Getting if off will require either putting the car on a lift and driving it off, or lifting the engine slightly to get access for a pulley puller (there is not enough clearance as it). The second method is the one in the service manual. Having neither a car lift or an engine hoist I cannot do it. I will include a brand new optispark. All you will need to do is pull the pulley, remove the old optispark, install the new optispark, and replace the pulley, water pump, accessory drive belt, and refill the coolant. Should be easy but I am out of money and out of work. Good way to get a 1992 in good condition with low miles.
