Vehicle Detail

Please have a look at this exceptionally well cared for '88 Honda Magna. This is my Honda 750cc (45ci), 4 cylinder, shaft driven, water cooled, 6 speed with 19,200 miles. It runs and shifts perfectly. Shaft drive means not having to constantly worry over the chain/sprocket/belt condition and tension. It's quick and agile as only Honda can make them. The V-4 cylinder runs as silky smooth as they come and it handles well at low and higher speeds. A really nice, smooth running and shifting bike for a pleasant Sunday afternoon ride on the highway or around town. It's a dream to ride and I get around 45mpg. Just light enough for the mall parking lot but heavy enough to keep you on those rural highways as the semi's fly by. The back portion of the seat slips off to make it a single seater. Being a Honda it's very dependable, I'd jump on it and go anywhere. Maintained by the local Honda Dealer, well... except for the easy stuff. It just passed state inspection in April. The tires are in great condition and the battery was replaced this spring. They only built them using this style for 2 years 87 - 88. The 87's were 700cc's so this is a pretty rare bike. I have the original manual. BONUS!!! This thing's an absolute bullet on the highway!! It really screams. You'll really have to be careful, red line is 10,000 rpm and if you get up around 6500 in high gear you're at about 90 before you know it. My sides still have gouge marks from my wifes fingernails. (and not from the fun stuff either.) 0 - 80 will have you hanging on to those bars baby!!. Not many bikes will be able to touch you. (Not much else either.) 6 speed tranny and a great deal of power and torque for a 515 pd vehicle. Large disc brake on the front wheel and a drum on the rear means it'll stop smoothly and quickly. I'm the 2nd owner. I bought it from the original owner in '93 and have always kept it in the garage or basement as did he. It's really clean with no weathering issues as you can tell from the photos. A few dings and scratches as you might expect from any cycle. It's never been dropped. The left side pipes scraped in the garage. It's been an excellent motorcycle, it really turns heads. I have a clear title in my possession. THANKS FOR LOOKING!! This motorcyle is being sold as is/where is with no warranty expressed or implied. A non refundable deposit of $500 is due within 48 hours of the close of the auction. I reserve the right to end the auction early as the bike is for sale locally. Buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping.
