This is my Corvette. I hold the clear title. This is a Florida car, bought in Jacksonville, Fl. and now lives in Lake Placid, Fl. The car is rust free. I just had a factory re-manufactured transmission installed, about four hundred miles ago. Our local Chevrolet dealer, Alan Jay Chevrolet, installed it at a cost of $3,000.00. It has a three-year/100,000 warrenty that will be transferred to the new owner. Under the hood- the computer has been rebuilt, the 02 sensors have been replaced, All fluids have been changed. I use only Mobil -1 oil (clear as honey). The horns were changed out for an ooogua horn. The interior is a beautiful red. The seats are not leather. The stereo is a high dollar CD,AM,FM with all four speakers. The tires are like new. The brakes are fine. I have changed all the rubber around the doors and winshield. I will tell you of anything I know of that is not perfect: The driver's window needs help to move it up and down, (it is not the motor), I think it is the little rollers, but I am not sure. The targa top does not leak, but has three cracks in it.The radio antenna goes up and down, but must be kept about an inch from seating (I wrapped a piece of wire around the top- it works. On the driver's side about a foot below the antenna, there is a break in the plastic (see pictures) The driver's window has scratches (see pictures). The car runs fine, I would drive it to California tomorrow. You will not be disappointed with my car. Why am I selling the car? My wife and I are retired. I have worked on automobiles since I was 11 years old. I am now a senior citizen and own three vehicles that I will sell on eBay. First there is my Corvette, my 2001 Silverado truck and my 47 Ford Super Deluxe. I plan to buy the wife a new Chrysler 300 that she likes. For the most part I am going to stop driving. I am a disabled Viet Nam veteran and the physical pain of just keeping up three vehicles is just too much for me. We are ready to make this change in our lifestyle. It's not because I need the money.
