Here is a unmolested 1980 Honda CM400E. I am selling this bike for my friend. He was the second owner and has lost interest in the sport of motorcycling. The bike is in good condition and runs good. It does have it's normal wear and tear for a 30 year old bike. There is some rust on the rims but over all the chrome and paint are in good condition. The pictures do not show that the bike could use a set of mufflers because the right side baffle is rusted out. This bike sat for quite a few years. I replaced the battery and cleaned out the carbs. I rode the bike about 20 miles and the more I rode it the better it ran. It did slightly hesitate in the mid range. The only other issue is the horn did not work. If you look carefully at the photos this bike has never been down...no scrapes on the engine gaurd, mirrors, bars or turn signals. It even has the original manual and tool kit. Someone is going to get a real nice beginners bike that just needs a little detailing and a good tune up. You are welcome to come a view and ride the bike prior to the auction ending with prior arrangements. The standard deposit is due when the auction ends. The balance is due upon delivery with a cashiers check or cash. Shipping is your responsibility but I could delivery it locally. We can work out the details with the winning bidder.
