Or maybe you were the driver of this Beauty in its day ! So many of us have memories that revolve around the cars owned by our relatives, neighbors or by ourselves. Well, here is your chance to buy a piece of your life back ! Yes, it is a RARE 1964 Plymouth Valiant Signet Barracuda Fastback ! You may not find another one like this as they only made 20,796 of these beauties back in 1964 ! I bet their are not to many left especially in the condition this one is in !! The Barracuda was the top of the Valiant line in 1964 and this is a true code "V49" Barracuda V8 model not a clone. This is a very tight and solid car which drives like a dream. We have been asked by the owner to sell this Early Muscle car and as you can see in the pictures this is his pride and joy but he just doesn't drive the car much anymore. This Plymouth Barracuda has the STRONG - ORIGINAL - NUMBERS MATCHING - 273 CID (Code "V273") motor in it with an Offenhauser 4-barrel manifold and Edelbrock carburetor with electric choke. Sounds good too with the nearly new "Throaty" dual Exhaust system. The motor was rebuilt several years ago by Motor Works in Washington State where the car has lived since at least 1979 and is running well. If you know anything about these motors you know they are one of the best motors ever made and last forever. The engine is backed by a Smooth three speed automatic Transmission that also was rebuilt and performs well. The code "P57" Gold Interior is in pretty good condition considering it is mostly original with good front bucket seats (tear in the driver’s seat bottom) good rear bench seat with tears along the sun baked tops, nice dash pad and good original gauge cluster, nice door panels painted white, good original headliner with a couple of small tears and a nice ORIGINAL steering wheel. This BEAUTY is nicely equipped including the Original Am Radio which is currently not working, good heater and defroster, seat belts on the front, factory gauge package and a chrome exterior mirror . The ODO shows 22,037 miles but true miles are unknown. Just look at this thing though ! This Barracuda Fastback is quite a deal and you will be surprised at the low reserve. This Muscle Car has good looks and AWESOME power as well and is BLAST to drive, TO FUN ! Check out the new "Ultra" aluminum sport wheels and the new performance steel belted radial tires boy do they look OUTSTANDING on this car !! These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners, any of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension seems to be in good working order as well as the electric system. Is this the car that you remember riding in as a youth ? Or maybe you were the driver of this Beauty in its day ! So many of us have memories that revolve around the cars owned by our relatives, neighbors or by ourselves. Well, here is your chance to buy a piece of your life back ! Yes, it is a RARE 1964 Plymouth Valiant Signet Barracuda Fastback ! You may not find another one like this as they only made 20,796 of these beauties back in 1964 ! I bet their are not to many left especially in the condition this one is in !! The Barracuda was the top of the Valiant line in 1964 and this is a true code "V49" Barracuda V8 model not a clone. This is a very tight and solid car which drives like a dream. We have been asked by the owner to sell this Early Muscle car and as you can see in the pictures this is his pride and joy but he just doesn't drive the car much anymore.
This Plymouth Barracuda has the STRONG - ORIGINAL - NUMBERS MATCHING - 273 CID (Code "V273") motor in it with an Offenhauser 4-barrel manifold and Edelbrock carburetor with electric choke. Sounds good too with the nearly new "Throaty" dual Exhaust system. The motor was rebuilt several years ago by Motor Works in Washington State where the car has lived since at least 1979 and is running well. If you know anything about these motors you know they are one of the best motors ever made and last forever. The engine is backed by a Smooth three speed automatic Transmission that also was rebuilt and performs well. The code "P57" Gold Interior is in pretty good condition considering it is mostly original with good front bucket seats (tear in the driver’s seat bottom) good rear bench seat with tears along the sun baked tops, nice dash pad and good original gauge cluster, nice door panels painted white, good original headliner with a couple of small tears and a nice ORIGINAL steering wheel. This BEAUTY is nicely equipped including the Original Am Radio which is currently not working, good heater and defroster, seat belts on the front, factory gauge package and a chrome exterior mirror . The ODO shows 22,037 miles but true miles are unknown. Just look at this thing though ! This Barracuda Fastback is quite a deal and you will be surprised at the low reserve. This Muscle Car has good looks and AWESOME power as well and is BLAST to drive, TO FUN ! Check out the new "Ultra" aluminum sport wheels and the new performance steel belted radial tires boy do they look OUTSTANDING on this car !! These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners, any of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension seems to be in good working order as well as the electric system. This Barracuda is a good investment opportunity and it is priced right and is a quality car ! This vehicle is in sharp condition from top to bottom and from front to back. It will not disappoint someone looking for a good example of a sought after and hard to find collector automobile.
