1947 Triumph 1800 Roadster. VIN number TRD983. Stored in a garage in Southern California for the last few decades. Purchased by the previous owner in England in the mid seventies and brought to California in 1977. Very rare and complete car (only 2500 made) in need of a complete restoration. The photos depict the car’s condition and the true mileage is unknown. The engine and transmission are the desirable original units. The aluminum body is intact and there are some bumps and bruises but no significant damage. The interior is shot but it appears that most of the wood pieces are there. The windshield and side glass, including the rumble seat windshield are in good shape with no cracks. The ladder frame has some rust; the main rails appear to be quite sound with some surface rust but the rear mounts for the bumper are rusted. I have the title to the car.
