Vehicle Detail
This is a 1988 Suzuki Samurai that I purchased for myself a year and a half ago. I had done a lot of body work to it because I had intended on keeping it long term. So I went thru and cut all the places out where a samurai typically rusts, and welded in new metal. I applied a rubberized Herculiner bedliner to the interior floor boards from front to rear for added protection and sound dampening. The carpet set is complete, and I applied new vinyl to the panels of the interior and painted the interior in a Dupont metallic orange. It also has a Pioneer stereo system, and i added a set of 6x9 pioneer speakers to the rear. The inside is lit with 8 LED red strip lights in the lower and upper parts of the interior and put on 2 seperate switches. It makes it nice so when you arrive at your hunting spot, so you don't have to flip on a bright white light when you are unloading your gear. The light weight stock bumpers have been replaced with heavy duty custom made steel bumpers. The front bumper could easily have a winch mounted to it. And to top it all off, I applied a custom fern pattern camo paint job... The windshield will has a crack in it,but their windshields are completely flat and it could easily be traced and cut at a auto glass shop and replaced relatively cheap, and it could use a new muffler and tailpipe. The muffler is still attatched though. For being 22 years old this Samurai looks good, though it is not perfect, so do not expect perfect, but I have had 3 of them, and this one by far is the best and the tin tops are getting very rare and very hard to find..It will cruise down the road 60-70mph with ease and gets about 25mpg..I would not hesitate to drive it across the country right now!...The odometer reads around 62,000 miles, but is no longer functioning. But it does not use oil and the engine runs real smooth. Email me if you have any questions or want any other pictures.. Don't be afraid to make an offer! Also, this car report states there is a title issue, well that's a load of crap. I purchased the Samurai in Kentucky and it is LEGALLY TITLED AND LICENSED IN WV without a single problem at all when I switched it over! ## ALSO, THERE IS NO WAY THIS VEHICLE HAS 200,000 MILES...SOME PREVIOUS OWNER JUST SIMPLY PUT THAT ON THE TITLE BECAUSE THE ODOMETER DID NOT WORK...I HAVE BEEN DRIVING SAMURAI'S FOR THE PAST 10 YEARS AND THE MOTOR ON THIS ONE DOES NOT HAVE THAT MANY MILES..NO WAY! IT RUNS SMOOTH, HAS QUICK RESPONSE AND I WOULDN'T HESITATE TO DRIVE IT CROSS COUNTRY.
