It is in great shape and it drives very well. I just drove it to Panama City Florida the first of July for a family reunion. It did excellent, cruising about 70 mph we averaged about 13 - 14 mpg and we had the truck fully loaded. I would drive it anywhere tomorrow. Pursuit Alarm system with one Key fob. Had a repaint done January of 2006. (original color was grey, but had everything painted white.) ($2250.00) 2 1/2" BDS leaf spring lift, shocks/bushings/u-bolts (7/06) ($1000.00) Daystar extended shackles (7/06) ($200.00)Has Grey leather interior. A/C blows COLD!!! (converted to r-134) ($200.00) VA state inspection. 7/09 (I will get another one done for July 2010)AT Transmission flush in May 2010. Oil change 07/10 (Castrol oil with Napa Gold oil filter.) Front axle serviced and bearings replaced/repacked.Tie rods and relay rods replaced in 2007. (the rubber boot on the driver side is torn) Brake calipers and pads on front brakes and rear shoes/wheel cylinders & spring kit 7/09. K & N air filter.Optima battery. BF Goodrich a/t tires original chrome wheels with nice center caps. OVERALL: This Land Cruiser is not perfect. There are small chips in the paint. The driver side rocker has been replaced to fix the rust with a rust free rocker from another Land Cruiser. The rear wheel wells had the typical rust that was cut out and new metal was welded in. So there are no rust issues with it now. There is a chip in the hood just above the front driver side headlight that has been touched up, but not perfectly. The fact that ebay shows an accident report is accurate. My wife was rear ended in May 2006 (about 4 months after I had repainted it.) and we had to replace the lower tailgate and rear bumper. I have owned since 2004. I have most receipts. I love this truck, and it has always been reliable and I hate to sell it but I own three other Land Cruisers. I have tried to represent this Land Cruiser as accurately as I can, as I would want to know the good and not so good of any vehicle I was looking to buy. Being sold as is. No warranty implied or given. Payment and Pick up terms: $500.00 deposit due within 48 hours from end auction. (non-refundable) Vehicle must be picked up within 7 days from end of auction. (unless other arrangements have been made) NO SHIPPING. PLEASE.... Do not bid on this Land Cruiser if you have no way of paying/picking up or completing the sale. Bidders with no feedback please email before bidding. HAPPY BIDDING! On Jul-23-10 at 12:46:25 PDT, seller added the following information: DO YOU HAVE QUESTIONS?? GIVE ME A CALL: 540-246-5141. My name is Joel. I had to post this question and my answers as I thought many may have the same questions . Q: Nice Landy! & THANK YOU for all of the extra pictures (that REALLY helps)! A few Qs: How bad was the accident in the rear? Was it just a simple replacement of the rear bumper & tailgate? or was there also damage to the rear quarter panels or the cargo floor? Any frame damage? & with the rust repair that was done, please describe the extent of the panels patched/replaced. Was the entire rocker panel replaced? or patched? How much of the fenders were replaced/patched? Do I see a crack developing on the lower portion of left rear fender behind the wheel? I also see a couple of pics showing rust on the frame. Is this just light surface rust? or is it more severe? How old are the tires? % tread left? Any cracks? I think I also see that the xfercase has been opened at one time (can see sealant at seam), was there an issue here? Any leaks? Does it track straight & brake straight? Your other Landys are very nice also! How did you chose this one to sell? -Kevin Thanks and your welcome. I'm gonna try and put a video link on there this evening! Answer to question #1, #2 #3 & #4. The accident involved a van hitting the rear and it damaged the lower tailgate and bumper only. My wife was stopped and the van didn't stop fast enough. I took the cruiser to my local toyota guy (Valley Imports) and had him(Mike) check everything over as I wanted to make sure that nothing besides the body was affected. Because if something else was damaged, I wanted the insurance company to take care of it. Turned out just fine, except the lower tailgate was replaced and I got a new rear bumper. No damage to the quarter panels, cargo area or frame. It simple dented the tailgate and bumper. Answer to question #5 & #6: This recent repair work was done in June of 2010. The driver side rocker panel had rust on it where the exhaust pipe come close to the rocker panel. I cut out 3/4 of the rocker from under the front of the front door to near the rear of the back door on the driver side. Then I used fiberglass to patch a rust spot that was at the driver side back door, just above the rocker panel. When I had the vehicle painted in 2006 the rear quarter panels had rust on them at the mud flap mounting locations and near the center top of the wheel arch. It was repaired then, but the rust came back. This time (June 2010), I cut the rust out, and welded in new metal from a donor land cruiser. I primed everything I could with a zinc primer inside the rockers and quarter panels. Then I took the truck to the same body shop that painted it for me in 2006 and had them paint the rocker and quarter panels. It looks ok. It's not perfect. Answer to question #7: The rust on the frame is really at the rear where the spare tire mounts... The inner laminated piece tends to rust on east coast cruisers and this one is no exception. The drivers side is worse than the passenger side. I will try and get better photos. Answer to question #8: The tires are older. I recently got them with the purchase of my 1990 cruiser. They had been stored inside and had 3/4 tread on them. He only had 3, so I used another bfg at that I had for the fourth tire. They are in decent shape, however on closer inspection, the treads do have some cracking. Answer to question #9: The transfer case must have been opened at some point. It was before I owned the cruiser however and I do not know what the reason was. I did notice a little fluid leaking at the transfer. Answer to question #10: I am spending $50.00 today to get an alignment done. I installed 2 degree shims to the front axle and it slightly turned the front wheel. I was going to align it right after installing the shims however, we ended up driving it to Panama City at the last minute. And I do mean the last minute. My in-laws showed up in there Volvo that we had planned to drive and there was NO way that all our stuff and there stuff was gonna fit. So, I checked all the fluids, tire pressure and away we went in the cruiser. I had no worries about driving it. I did notice on the trip down to Panama City that it was pulling left slightly while braking hard. So when I got back, I checked out the braking system and found that the passenger side rear rubber brake line had a small amount of brake fluid on it. I replaced it with another that I had. Seems to have fixed that issue. Answer to question #11: Yes, I do have other cruisers. I'm selling this one first to get a more fuel efficient vehicle. I mean seriously I have 4 Land Cruisers. I need a car that gets 30 mpg+. Thanks for all the good questions Kevin! ALSO, THIS CRUISER HAS A FLOWMASTER MUFFLER ON IT.... IT SOUNDS PRETTY GOOD! DO YOU HAVE MORE QUESTIONS??
