Up for auction is a 1987 Dodge Dakota with a 2.2 4 cyl. 5spd. It has PA inspection sticker good till November 2010. The truck is by no means a cream puff and is a basic economy model. It has the normal wear and tear you can expect on a vehicle 23 years old and is relatively rust free. Please look at the pictures and ask any questions before you bid. I am not listing the truck for entertainment or for practice, I want to sell it, so if you bid, please be prepared to pay for it. The truck has a new master cylinder is in a plastick bag behind the seat, tires are about 7/32. The engine has more mechanical noise than I like to hear, but runs and drives fine and doesn't use any oil to speak of. I usually get about 20 to 22 mpg. Since I have never been know for my fuel saving driving habits, some one who really wants to save gas and isn’t in a rush to get where they are going will possibly be better. The truck is for sale local and cash money talks. I reserve the right to end the auction early for the right offer either local or on line. The truck is ready to drive away. One additional thing I just remembered, this truck is equipped with a electric cooling fan and it is noisy. It has always worked and the truck does not overheat, but the fan has kind of chatter to it when it is running. You do not hear it while driveing, but if sitting at an idle with the window open, you can hear it. I drive the truck regularly, so mileage can be different from listed. I have driven it about 9,000 miles sinc it was inspectied in Novmber. On Jul-19-10 at 21:21:24 PDT, seller added the following information: 3 Things I thought of that I want to mention. The automatic choke is not working correctly and you have to pump the throttle a lot to get it started for the first time of the day. There is a choke cable on the floor which I was going to install, but never got it finished. I just didn't bother me that much. 2. There is a small leak that trickles in on the drivers side floor when it sits out in the heavy rain. I am going to put some sealer across the top of the windshield, I think that is where it is coming from so hopefully it will be fixed. 3. I don't think the pictures show it, but the mirror glass is broken on the passenger mirror. I will try to get it replaced or will give refund for used replacement cost to any current bidder.
