Vehicle Detail

Please give enough time for all the Pictures to load there are a lot of them in the Description, and then you will be able to page down. This is an Authentic Norwood Built, 1970 Z28 RS 4-Speed Built the 5th Week of July 1970, with Matching Numbers and 88,000 Original miles. It has the Original LT1 350/360HP V8 and the Original M20 4-Speed that it was Born with, they both have the Vin. stamp and correct codes. The reverse lockout on the M20 still works and it shifts like a dream! The Rear is the Original 12 Bolt Posi-Traction with 3.73 Gears and the Factory Sway Bars. The Engine has been Rebuilt to Factory Specs, the Cylinders didn't need anything except to be honed they were in such great condition. The engine compartment has been Highly Detailed as when New. The Original Smog equipment is still in place as well as the Correct Intake and Exhaust manifolds, Distributor, Holley Carburetor and much more, the only part that the numbers are incorrect on that I know of is the Alternator. It has Power Steering and Power Disc Brakes that make it a Joy to Drive. Spending it's life in North Carolina it is a well preserved Z28, that only needed minor attention to get it to this level. Just refinished in its Correct Code-51 Daytona Yellow and Code-19 Black Stripes in Dupont Base/Clear and Polished to a Mirror-like Show Quality finish. Prior to Paint it was Primed and Block Sanded to show off its Lazer Straight Body. It originally had a black vinyl top but I think it looks better without, so we didn't put on a new one. The undercarriage is solid and looks good, it has the original rustproofing still in place from when it was new. It still has it's Correct Short Spoiler and Original RS Split bumper parts. The Interior is Beautiful! It has Deluxe Seats and Door panels but it Originally had the Standard Black Interior, the 2nd Owner liked the Deluxe Comfort Weave better (so do I) and changed them in 1992. It has Tilt Wheel the Original AM Radio that works great, the Original Hurst Shifter is in place and the Gas Pedal is still mounted to the Floor as it was when new. The headliner is Original and perfect, the carpet was replaced in 1992 and still looks new. The trunk still retains the Original jack, Space Saver Spare and inflator cylinder. Here are just a few of the particulars about the car: *Norwood built car with Option Code Z28 on the Cowl Tag *It has the Power Steering Pump Bracket that mounts to the driverside Exhaust Manifold. *3/8" Fuel Lines. *Engine Code CTB and Vin stamp and date July 8th. *Transmission has Vin stamp and Date June 5th. *Water pump date Feb 2. *Distributor #1112019 date June 27th. *Rear End date May 1st. *Heads #3927186. *Intake #3972110. *Carb #3972121. Exhaust Manifolds #3942527, #3946826 After driving this car all I can say is WOW! It is one of the best driving muscle cars I have ever had, I have had many and spent a lot of hours trying to get them to Ride, Handle and Perform like this one does. The steering is Tight and Precise the Muncie is crisp and Shifts solid. The throttle response will really get your heart pumping and the sound is that of the one and only LT1. While no 40 year old car is perfect, I can't say enough about the quality of this Camaro, It truly is a Beauty to Behold. You hear alot of people say you can drive this one anywhere, well last fall just before it was redone I took it on a 750 mile trip and it performed without one glitch. To sum it up, if you love Paint that looks like Glass, Cars that perform like they were made to, and Real Cars, then this one is for you! I'm sure I have missed details email or Call me and I will answer your questions the best that I can. I don't have anything to hide and will try to describe the car to the best of my ability. Check my FEEDBACK I take pride in my reputation and want the new owner to be as happy with this Car as I am. I don't not claim to be an authority and a lot of people know much more than I do about 2nd Gen Camaro's, I am just a private collector that is passionate about my cars and I have learned a lot the past 30 years working with them, I know a great car when I see one. The car is available to preview most anytime and I encourage you to do so, but a winning bid does not entitle you to come look at it ask questions and then decide if you want it, Please preview and ask questions before you bid. My name is Todd and my Cell is 434-531-5823.
