Vehicle Detail

This is a 1970 Chevelle 2 Door Hardtop. Prior owner had this car for almost 20 years. His intention was to make a drag car out of it but never really got off the ground. People would try to buy the car over the years but he would never sell it. Finally the day came and now we have it. It is a project car and will need restoration depending on which way you want to go with it. I will try and discribe it to the best of my ability. The car originally was a 307 automatic car. Now has a 305 V-8 4 BBL with automatic transmission. The motor runs real good. The exhaust is loud as it is running off the headers, no mufflers or tail pipes. Transmission goes into all gears, brakes stop the car. When we got it, there was no interior. We found a 70's parts car and installed the door panels, front and back seat and rear panels. The front seat is torn badly on the drivers side but is repairable. Dash pad is cracked and needs replacement. No headliner. All the glass is good. Windows roll up and down. We put on a set of Chevelle Rally Wheels with new rubber. As far as the body condition is concerned the front fender bottoms have been repaired with tin and so have the lower rear quarters. Doors are decent, rockers are good and solid. The floor pan is 95% solid. There is some patch work on the driver and passenger side area but it looks like they just covered up some sporatic rust spots. There is also a rust hole under the back seat drivers side. These are all areas that can be cut out and repaired properly without replacing pans. I took a picture of the underside so you could see these spots. Trunk pan is in fair shape with a little patching by the inner wheel tubs. Front inner fenders are missing. Frame is in solid shape with the exception of the lower passenger side front horn where sediment collects. That will need a repair. See pic. I have a replacement used trunk lid in good shape as the one on the car is rusty on the inside. The front stabilizer bar is missing the links for either side. Also I was supposed to get a new pair of rear coil springs when I purchased the car as they had taken out the old ones. I never recieved them. So it will need a set. I do have all the stainless moldings for the rear window, vynil top and side trim. I have both front kick panels, emergency brake assembly, washer jug, windshield wiper motor and some seat belts. Granted it is a project but it is still a desirable muscle car to restore. We are selling on a dealer bill of sale. If you need a title in your state, I will register the car and give you all the proper paperwork. It will be an additonal $150 to register the car.
