2000 DODGE DAKOTA 4WD CREWCAB V8 Up for auction today I am offering a very clean Dakota. This truck was my sons and he was a senior this last year in High Shcool. The oil pump went out before Christmas and we lost the engine so we bought a new remanufactured engine off of here on Ebay. It has came with a 3 yr unlimited mileage warranty, it only has around yrs left now on that. We bought the truck here on Ebay also about 3 yrs ago, it had 107k miles on it then. It came with the lift and I'm not sure but I figure its a 6" lift, we put new tires on it about 6,000 miles ago. I bought him a new truck for college so, this one is ready to go. Mechanically- This truck has a 4.7 liter V8, like said the engine was replace this year and has less than 1,000 miles on it. I believe the warranty is transferable, I bought it from Engines Direct, to who is the seller here on Ebay out of Phoenix, AZ. It was a complete block minuse the valve covers adn intake. The mechanic also put a new oil pump, timing chain, water pump and all filter on the engine, air filter, synthetic oil and flushed the radiator. The transmission is tight, no slipage, truck runs out great, 4wd works great, has exhuast that dumps out under the truck right behind the axle. I believe the truck has a 6" full suspension lift, almost new 33x12.50x15r Toyo tires, new tie rod ends and a fresh alignment just this week so that way its good for highway travel, steering wheel was alittle off center was all. Exterior- The outside of this truck looks pretty darn good for a 10 year old truck. There are a few bumps and nicks typical of a used truck of this age. There is a dent on the drivers side rear quarter behind the tire see pics, and there is a rub mark on the tailgate also in the pics. It has a Rhino liner and a factory rubber mat int he bed, tinted windows, has an aftermarket aluminum gas door, reciever hitch, tow package and the windshield has a few small rock chips that could be fixed by a glass shop without replacing the windshield I believe. Interior- The inside of this truck is pretty darn clean. The only thing that I can think of is that the drivers seat has some wear from the last owner getting in and out of it. The plastic is broken and the foam is worn, nothing a good upolstrey shop couldn't fix. It does have power windows, locks, mirrors and seats. Buckets in the front with a center console, tilt/cruise, am/fm/cass/cd and a Sirius reciever, service is expired but you can renew it under your name, all floor mats there, no stains to think of in the carpet, non smoking truck and no other tears or holes to mention. Overall this is a really nice pickup, weather your looking for one for your kid, a driver for yourself or a good truck for hunting or 4wheelin'.
