1998 Honda Civic DX. We bought this car six months ago and have been happy with it, but we're moving and need to just have the one truck in which we plan to move. The Civic is an excellent car. I've taken it on long trips (NH -> NJ) with no trouble, and seen around 30mpg. It has an automatic transmission, four doors, four wheels, the usual stuff one finds in a car. 183k miles, which is significant but Civics run for a long time. Blue book in fair condition is $2235. It's probably in Good condition but just to err on the side of caution. The good: Very solid car30 mpg12-CD changernewish tires (6 months old)Little rustRed Sox bumper sticker. The bad: Not a pretty car. I don't know if this guy just parked near Yankees fans or what but the car is scratched up and not pretty. Only three spots of rust, and those not through, but the car, while solid, is not shiny.AC doesn't work. Might just need a charge. Needs distributor cap. Occasionally idles roughly and shows 'Check Engine' light because of this.Rear bumper plastic cover has a hole in it, currently (attractively) covered with duct tape. We will not ship this car, not even if your grandmother's hairdresser is the finance minister of Whozitstan. The car is completely drivable. Buy it, get a plate, drive it home while enjoying the CD changer's tunes. Heck, I'll even give you a few odd CDs.
