Vehicle Detail
I bought this Jeep October 24,1992, and I never thought the day would come that I would be selling it, but it is here. This is a two owner Jeep, it had 45k miles on it when I bought it, it now has just over 130k. I have kept it in great condition, with some awsome upgrades that enhance the drivability, reliability and its ability off road. The Jeep has about 4" of lift with a combination of springs, shackles and small body clearance lift. The tires are 33/12.50/15 BFG Mud Terrain they are about 3 years old but they have roughly 2000 miles on them. Sadly the Jeep spends most of its time in the garage. The Jeep has the Mopar MPI fuel injection upgrade with a Borla header and a flowpro exhaust, it sounds awsome. This is the best. It starts easily, runs smooth, accelerates going up hills and can pass other traffic. Off road it is 1000% better than the factory carter carb. ever was. The Jeep is equipped with ARB locking differentials and 4.10 gears in both differentials. The winch is a Ramsey Pro Plus 9000 that has very little use. It has an upgraded Alpine CD player and speakers. The Jeep includes several tops, the origional hard top and doors, the Besttop Supertop with doors, 3 or 4 different bikini tops, 2 sets of half doors, tonneau cover and wind jammer. I have the origional window sticker and 2 sets of origional keys and multiple other spare keys plus many other documents including the owners manual and pamphles. The Jeep is not perfect there are some rock chips, scratches and touch up. There is some paint fading on the upper cowel area and some clear coat flaking on the windshield frame, there is some minor sruface rust. I have kept the origional paint as much as possible but it has needed some touch up in the last almost 18 years that I have owned it. It has all of the normal AMC Jeep parts, Dana 300 transfer case, Dana 30 front axle (upgraded withe superwinch hubs), AMC 20 rear axle (upgraded with Moser one piece axles), and the transmission is the very desiarable T176 4speed, as it is the most heavy duty transmission offered in the later CJ's. This is a great Jeep that I will be very sad to see go, it has never left me stranded, and it draws alot of attention wherever I go. Great color combination and the classic CJ look with some modern upgrades.
