Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 1969 Dodge Charger from California. This car still has all of its original body panels and is in really good shape. This car is an original small block car, but now has a 1968 440 in it that runs very well and has been converted over to electronic ignitoin. The electrical in this car is amazingly nice and in good shape. This Charger from the factory was a green on green car, but was painted black a long time ago. The car could use a paint job , but looks respectable for a driver.I do drive this car daily. There are spots where the paint is peeling and some fading but I thimk could be buffed out. This is a factory A/C car with power drum brakes and power steering. The A/C doesn't work. The pump is there but is missing the condensor and lines. The brakes in the front are new and the rear brakes and drums are new as well,The vaccum booster is getting bad and should be replaced. The car has headers with dual exhaust and is very quite. The transmission pan gasket, filter and fluid were just changed. I just had the front end alligned and the car drives and handles nicely. Whats nice about this car is you can drive and enjoy it while you fix it up your way. This car needs very little to be nice. Now the body on this car is amazingly nice and original. I have looked at alot of Chargers and this is one of the nicest original panel cars that I've come across. The floors on this car are so clean you could eat of them. The torsion box, front and rear frame rails are super nice. as you can see in the pictures. The engine compartment is also nice. The qaurter panels are also original and super nice. Now the bad. The center trunk pan does have rust and will need to be replaced. The roof under the vinyle top is starting to get rust bubbles under the vinyle and should be taken off in the future and be sanded down. All the chrome trim on this car is in pretty good shape, and is all there. The car does have a dent in the front of the right fender where I was showing off with my 4 wneeler and come flying around the corner or the garage and hit my car. Not cool! Ther is a small dent on the left rear quarter panel just above the bumper. There are also smaller minute dents lijke small rock dents etc. on the car. from 40 years of wear and tear. The interior on this car is also in really good condtion. The front and back seats are really nice no ripps or tears. The carpet is new and so is the headliner. The side and front windshield trim is missing for the headliner. The carpet and the headliner are black. The front seat belts are missing , but the rear ones are all there. The dash pad is perfect. All the gauges do work except for the clock . The speedometer does work, But clicks and the needle jumps around. The dome lights work, door buzzer works, wipers work, turn signals work, headlights work and do open. The lower door panels are really nice , but the upper panel pads do have cracks in the front and rear. The radio is missing and some Idoit cut out the radio panel for an aftermarket radio. However I do have a factory radio that is missing the top cover and is not in the best shape that can be sent with the car. So to put in the factory radio you will need to get another radio dash bezel. All in All folks this is not a perfect car,but is a very nice original panel car that you can drive and enjoy while you fix it the way you want and wont take alot to be a super nice car. I have described this car to the best of my knowledge and the car is being sold as is and has no warranties for this car is 40 plus years old. Inspections are welcome and if you have any questions please give me a call at 715-563-2365. I am gone during the week (work road construction)so it might take me little bit to get back to you on questions through the coumputer, but I will answer them. Im not interested in any trades so please dont ask. This vehicle is also for sale locally and I do reserve the right to end the auction early. This car will only sell in the United States, so if your outside of the US. please dont bid (SORRY). Also please dont bid if your not going to follow through with the transaction if you are the winning bidder. Thanks for looking and good luck.
