Vehicle Detail

1992 Toyota LAND CRUISER - FJ80 IN A VERY NICE CONDITION. ....with just over 80,000 miles!!!!... I am a TLCA (Toyota Land Cruiser Association) member and know "a little bit" about these vehicles. I always wanted a really clean FJ80, since in my opinion these are the most bullet proof Land Cruisers....I spent 3 years looking and finally found this Low Mileage and one-owner Land Cruiser in the middle of Florida and bought it from the Toyota dealer. The vehicle was very well maintained and so clean that the Toyota dealer had it on display in their main lot. I immediately bought it and shipped it to Colorado and parked it with my father in-law (I live in Illinois). I always wanted to buy one of these and modify it with all the ARB goodies and go 4-wheeling...well, reality does not allow me to do this... This Land Cruiser has never seen salt in the mid-west or the magnisium cholorides of Colorado...very very very clean underneath, no rust bubbles, etc...please look at the photos. It looks very nice and shiny...like I mentioned, I looked for one like this for more than 3 years... This Land Cruiser has always been garaged, since the paint is still nice and shiny, the dash is not cracked, and the headrests, or seats or not faded. The vehicle runs good. But like all FJ80 Land Cruisers they are very solid, heavy, reliable, but low on power!!! The vehicle has all the features that came standard on them:Dash moutned Transfer case (lock) buttonDoes not have the dash button to lock hubs3rd row seatingStereo - CD playerPower mirrorsSunroofPower door lockPower steeringTelescopic Steering wheelAuxiliary HeaterAir ConditioningLift gateRear Wiper...Also, I installed a windshield mounted Navigation system that I will let go with the vehicle Repairs in the past 3,000 miles (I will give you the receipts; $3,000+)New thermostatNew fan beltsEngine Oil/FilterFlush/Fill CoolantFlush/Fill Front Differential OilFlush/Fill Rear Differential OilFlush/Fill T-Case OilFlush/Fill Transmission OilFlush/Fill Brake FluidTune up:Platinum Spark PlugsPlug wireDistributor CapSet Valves (Intake/Exhaust)K&N Air FilterSet TimingReplace Tie Rod(s)Completely disassemble the front Differential and wheels ends and rebuild the complete front end ($$$ !)Including seal kitNew Anti-slip tape on the floor boards Repairs in the last year or about 5,000 miles (By Toyota dealer or by previous owner; I do not have receipts but was told by dealer; I believe them)New Interstate batteryNew A/C CompressorNew Fan ClutchReplace both rear window controlsNew/Checked BrakesNew Tires (BF Goodrich, Radial Long Trail T/A) FLAWS:I want to disclose all the known issues with the car, in an honest, and as clear as possible...I am losing money on this car, and it is not worth it to me to mis-represent anything...it is NOT WORTH IT...so PLEASE read and email me with any questions...integrity is worth more than a few hundred bucks....I took my wife's advice and had the car detailed - however the car wash people ran it through the car wash without lowering the power antenna and they bent it a little bit. --> Now the power antenna goes up and down, but it does not go all the way down. So if this bothers you, you will have to replace the antenna. The "Check Engine" lights comes on sometimes and then it goes off again. It is an Oxygen Sensor fault. I had it checked and I was advised to not waste money right now and wait until it completely fails. So PLEASE BE AWARE of this. This never bothered me, but I want you to be aware this light will come on and go out again. You can probably replace the sensors yourself - or have a shop do it.The two vents in the middle of the dash do not hold position...they are loose in their position...this is probably due to age. No big deal in my opinionCrack in the vinyl side of the driver's seat...this happened to all of these Land Cruiser. It has to do with the design of the seat and the fact that a hard plastic on the seat rubbs on the vinyl. No big deal in my opinion. Some other small scratches, a few minor door dings --> this is an 18 year old vehicle.I am not trying to get rich here, I just need to down size a little bit. My loss is your gain!!!! I have a lot more tied up in this vehicle...I have set the reserve VERY LOW...Those who know these vehicles, know that the low mileage versions are worth every dime. This vehicle is being sold by me for a LOW PRICE. So that you can fix the little issues and make it PERFECT. PLEASE ask me questions, and I will do my best to answer your questions. The Toyota Land Cruiser is sold as is. The vehicle is 18 years old...so No Warranty!... Payment: I am hoping that I can sell this car to a "normal" person the old fashion way...but I recently had a terrible experience...so I am SORRY, but I would like the money to clear / or cash before you take the vehicle from me. I expect PayPal of $1000 within 48 hours and the rest within 5 days... NON-REFUNDABLE... ** I reserve the right to end this auction, since I have it also advertised locally. **
