1986 Toyota 4Runner For Sale An awesome opportunity for someone who is looking for a classic truck in good condition. This truck is in decent condition for its age. It has minimal body rust and still has the original paint (although it is peeling and faded). The interior is in moderate condition and most of the features still work properly. It runs well and has no major mechanical problems. Here are the problems with this truck: Slight leak in power steering pump.Occasionally runs a little hot.Electric back window in tailgate does not work anymore.Rear window wiper does not work anymore.Paint is faded and peeling in many areas.Minor surface rust on the top above the cab.Rear bumper is not original.Here are the good things with the truck: Truck runs well. Engine does not burn oil.No significant body rust. Very clean wheel wells and fenders.4x4 works perfectly.Tires are in great shape.I've owned this truck since 2003 and have never used it as a daily driver. I bought it from the previous owner who lived in Phoenix, AZ. He claimed to be the 2nd owner and told me that the original owner was also from the Phoenix area. I drove the truck back to Utah and have done the following work since 2003: 2003: Replaced front half shafts, front brake rotors, front brake pads. Repaired rear brakes. Repaired exhaust.2004: New BF Goodrich All Terrain TA tires.2007: Removed Transmission and Transfer case and had them serviced and resealed by a professional Transmission shop in Salt Lake City. Replaced Clutch when Transmission was removed.2008: Replaced alternator. 2009: New Pitman arm.General Info: Never a daily driver. Used occasionally in winter. Mostly driven in summer.Still have the removable hard top, but it has not been on the truck in about 2 years. The tailgate electric window does not work anymore, but I have the replacement parts to fix it.Truck runs great and engine is smooth. Transmission is solid and 4x4 works perfectly.Slight vacuum leak in power brake system. Slight power steering pump leak.I have taken good care of this truck since I bought it in 2003. I am selling it because I now have a 2000 Tacoma and a 2010 Tacoma, and don't have room for it anymore. This truck has HUGE potential for the right buyer. You could use it as a daily driver as is, or you could do a lot of modification and have an awesome truck that all of your friends would envy. The best thing is that this truck has almost no body rust. Anyone who follows 4Runners will appreciate that its still relatively clean compared to most of the others like it.
