For sale is our 1985 BMW 318i in excellent condition. We bought this car for our son, but he has to wait another year before he can drive due to the new state driving laws. Not to mention the pressure I am receiving from the City as we have the car parked in our driveway. Our loss is your gain... I am honestly unsure the reasoning behind the odometer discrepancy via the history report. I figure the actual mileage is roughly 180K. I did not get overly concerned with it when we bought it due to the price we paid. We have owned the car for 5 months and bought it from the second owner. As you can see from the pictured it is a very nice car for the age and price. The car runs, but needs a new battery. It can be jump started at any time. The only other issue is with the clutch. There is an apparatus behind the clutch pedal that uses a push rod to engage the clutch via fluid line. The rod has come out of alignment, therefore it does not engage the clutch properly. This is an easy fix and does not require pulling the tranny. These are the only two (2) noticeable problems with the car. Everything else is cosmetic and does not affect the drive ability of the car. The purchaser of this car will need to have a trailer/tow dolly to take it home. I will not go into the features of this car since if you are serious about purchasing, you already know what the car has. You are getting much more than a $1,100.00 car with this auction.
