Up for auction is my 1977 BMW R100/7 in excellent condition. The bike rums very well. The clutch is brand new. The Bing carbs were just completely rebuilt, and of course have alcohol resistant float bowls for the new fuel blends. After many years of building a Popeye style forearm due to the heavy clutch lever pull on these models, I installed a soft clutch last year. I wish I would have learned about these earlier as lever effort is about half of what it used to be. The locking saddle bags look great, hold a lot of gear and are still quite water tight after all these years. New push rod tube seals and an oil pan gasket were just installed as well. The bike is very close to the way it left the factory. Many years ago I had an electronic ignition module installed to replace the original points & condenser. The original points plate & condenser will come with the bike, as well as the complete tool kit, owners manual and repair manual. The original saddle was replaced long ago with a Corbin seat with a backrest that either the rider or passenger can use. The color matching fairing right down to the gold pinstripes was added in '80 or '81. The engine is still nice and tight with compression right were it's supposed to be and low oil consumption. I am still riding the bike when I get a chance, so the mileage may be a bit higher when you come to ride it away. The battery is in good shape as is the front tire. The rear tire should be good for this riding season. Please let me know if you have any questions.
