Overview: For sale is a 2001 Cadillac Catera. I am moving and no longer have a need for a second vehicle. I have a 100% feedback rating and if you have any questions or want more pictures, please ask!!! I know cars are a HUGE investment and I want to do all I can to make it easy and assuring. Please watch the video as I point out scratches, dings, etc. I purchased this Catera just under 2 years ago and It only had 15,000 miles on it in the fall of 2008. I have driven it to and from work daily and between Virginia and Minnesota several times, yet that is it. It currently has just over 43,000 miles which are almost all highway miles. I work for the military and the car is titled in Minnesota, yet has been and is currently located in the DC/Virginia area. I own this car and have the title ready to sign over to the new lucky owner. Condition: This Catera is in good condition. I just got it back from the dealer where it was inspected without any issues. It is a 2001 and has some scratches, dings, etc on the inside and outside as one would expect from a used car. I take very good care of my cars and it is garage kept and in top shape as you can see by the photos. I wax it 4 times a year, and I condition the leather and interior every month. I don't smoke and I don't eat in my cars. The seats and carpet are in great shape, if you want new floor-mats you can order them from the dealer for around $70 or just get some generic ones from the store. The leather holder for the emergency brake could be replaced as the leather has dried and the plastic around all switches is soft plastic as all Cadillacs were, and show some wear. If you want additional pics, please ask!!! Again, see the you-tube video as I point things out... Mechanical: This Catera has new tires as of last year. It has a new coolant pump, new front brakes, new front rotors, and new front lower bushings as of this year. The car runs great and I have had very few issues with it. The AC/Heat work great and so does all the electrical options. The resonator could be replaced as a baffling inside is loose and rattles when it idles (see video), yet not enough to bother me to replace it. Also, the fog lights quit working for some reason a few months ago, yet as I don't use them, I never bothered to have it fixed. The front passenger light is a little milky/cloudy, yet does not interfere with night driving. The car is in good condition, I am just listing everything I can think of as I don't want the winner to come accross anything and think they were ill informed. Options: This Catera has power everything (Equipment Group TW1 package), BOSE 10 speaker CD stereo (AWESOME), Leather everything with wood trim, Sunroof, On-Star, and I use Sylvania Silverstars/Ultra/Long Life bulbs in all my cars. The lights make a huge difference while night driving. I have never used the On-Star as I never activated it. The stereo is really nice. I have a 7 speaker BOSE in my other car and it does not hold a candle to this 10 speaker system.
