Up for auction is a 1979 Jeep CJ7 V8 NO RESERVE!!! One of the nicest functional Jeeps around! Yeah you could spend a fortune on a Jeep built for one side or the other, but most are either for looks or for extreme offroading. This is the best of both worlds. A nice looking Jeep that will cruise down the freeway with ease and yet will offroad anything most people will ever want it to, and has complete custom cage- just in case. Suspension: 4 inch spring lift with aftermarket Currie shackles Rancho 9000 adjustable shocks 4 speed manual transmission NP 435 transmission out of a 1978 3/4 ton Transfer case is Dana 300, twin stick, out a 1982 CJ7 Rear axle is an AMC 20 out of a 1982 CJ7 with a Detroit Locker, 410 gears, and one piece axle shafts Front axle is a Dana 30 out of an 1982 CJ7 with a LockRite Locker, 410 gears, Superwinch Manual Hubs Warn Winch Model Number 8274 (8000lbs) WINCH ONLY INCLUDED IF BIDDING GOES OVER 4800 Brand New Grant Steering wheel Tilt Column Includes two tops, one soft top and one bikini top Interior is in good shape. Very expensive, well-built cage, but the Jeep is still street functional. Good running 304 V8 motor-Completely stock with a rebuilt 2 barrel carburator Power Steering Brand new brakes, drums in the rear, discs in the front Jeep runs and drives great-very street drivable, but with enough upgrades to make it a serious off road machine too. No rust, and overall a clean nice ride. Great highway mpg for a Jeep at 13. It's got good power and is a blast! Summer is around the corner and it's offroading season. The negative feedback that was left was from a person who used extortion outisde of Ebay and therefore manipulated us. Ebay is not doing anything as it was sent to our personal email. His comment about the pictures is accurate as far as us not posting them, however he never did anything a responsible buyer would do, such as inquire for pictures or ask questions. The listing was accurate in it's details, and he bid well over the reserve. However his actually complaint was that we did not include a spare jack or tire, and threatened us because of it. (of course you can't put that on your left feedback because you would look like an idiot) We tried everything to get it removed, but because Ebay supposedly has no jurisdiction in my personal email, well we are SOL. So... long story short. We are good sellers, honest people, and ticked off at the kind of crap that people get away with. Additionally, we now understand why many people won't sell vehicles outside of the country. If you are purchasing from another country there will be an additional $500 charge at the end fo the auction as there is a large amount of extra work that seems to have to be done and an additional risk. We apologize for that inconvenience, but unfotunately that has been our experience as well as others.
