Vehicle Detail
This is a vintage 1974 Honda CL 125 S1 Scrambler that is in very good original condition. This is exceptionally clean for a 36 year old bike. You won’t find many of these around and are becoming very rare. Every part is original except the air filter and that is why it does not have the side cover on that side because it would not fit with the aftermarket filter and I do not have that right hand cover. It is also missing the battery, the mirrors, the Honda emblem on the gas tank, the 125 emblem on the side cover and the front rubber fork boots. All of the other parts, including the blinkers, lights, ignition, original key are all there. Both tires in the front and year are in good shape. The inside of the gas tank has no rust. It has five speeds, OHC single cylinder displacing 122cc and a high drawn exhaust pipe. It weighs very little... so anybody can ride it. Maybe it was your first bike and you want it again. The bike runs – just needs the battery to start it. This is a great deal for the top bidder over $500.00 and you won't find these anywhere and especially in this original condition. The bike is being sold as is with a bill of sale only, no title. The E-Bay $500 starting bid is for the CL 125 only. TWO VINTAGE MOTORCYCLES FOR THE PRICE OF ONE! BOTH BIKES FOR UNDER 800 BUCKS! THE PARTS ALONE FOR THESE TWO BIKES ARE WORTH TWICE THAT. I am also selling a vintage 1974 Honda Elsinore MT 250cc that is in OK condition for a 36 year old bike. Its dirt bike equivalent, the Honda Elsinore CR 250 is selling for over $6000 in pristine condition on EBay. The bike has all of the original parts on it but is also missing several parts like the lights, blinkers, ignition etc. All of this was taken off to make it a “dirt bike” back in the seventies. The ignition was changed to a stator – so just kick it over. The bike runs but has not been run in a couple years - the gas was drained and carb. cleaned and no rust inside tank. The bike is being sold as is with a bill of sale only – I have no title. If you want both bikes – I will sell both bikes for only $795 for the "Buy It Now" price. So you are getting two 1974 bikes for less than $800. I know where these bikes have been for the last 20 years, so they are off DMV records and can easily be transferred into the buyers name. I just have too many projects and can't start/finish these two bikes. Email me for more pictures or questions. Please see my other Ebay listings for vintage motorcycle service/owners manuals, decals and handlebar pads.
