We pride ourselves in honest auctions and ALWAYS start our bidding at ONE PENNY! Metros with this kind of mileage aren’t easy to find and interest an awful lot of people! This LSI is one of those rare auctions that don’t have an untouchable reserve or stratospheric buy it now price. Any bid you make might be the last one. So please be extra serious when bidding. We’re also one of the only dealers on eBay that sells ALL our cars in true no reserve auctions where the bidding starts at only one penny! As you have already seen this is a nice Metro considering it is now 10 years old! It scores well with Autocheck and they report it as having spent most all its life in rural central PA. These are always nice, reliable cars to have around because of the incredible gas mileage they get and how easy they are to drive and park in an urban area. And the later ones like this one have the airbags for safety! These Metros are very comfortable on the highway and love making long trips! The exterior of the Metro is in very good overall condition. The dark green metallic paint looks very nice with the only issue being on the top of the right front fender where the clear coat has peeled away. This can be seen in many pictures. Otherwise all we noticed was the normal little nicks and scratches anyone would expect to see as well as a few little dings scattered around it. With the Geo’s lightweight construction they are very suseptable to little dings especially on the front of the hood. We did notice that the right front has some minor damage because the hood doesn’t quite fit fully flush. The damage looks old so it looks to have successfully gone through state inspection several times since it happened. Additionally, we found zero rust going over this car! And both mirrors are present! This is rare with Metros since the mirrors are fragile. This Metro is ready to go! With all the Metros we’ve sold over the years we know that the first thing buyers ask about is the condition of the front A-arms and the underbody. These are always weak spots on these little cars. Here are pictures showing how nice they are on this one! With the rest of the underbody, it looks just as nice! The tires have great tread on them! The aftermarket hubcaps give the car a much sportier look over the bland stock ones! This little Geo ran and drove great for us even though we didn’t get to drive it too much. We wouldn’t hesitate to drive it anywhere! We’ll show this beauty off and let it speak to you itself! It is tough to find low mileage survivors looking like this! Super fuel economy can be had cheaply with a Metro. No reason to pay top dollar for a little Duracell Hybrid that costs a lot to maintain (and have problems stopping) when there are fully inspected low mileage cars like this still around. It’s nice to see them in this kind of condition AND also in a NO RESERVE auction! Here’s your chance to own one! For a 10 year old economy car interior we were very pleased! Metro LSI’s have an upgraded interior from the standards The gray cloth seats are all in excellent condition! There is very little, wear showing anywhere. This is really a beautifully kept interior for its age! The inner door panels are looking just as great! The dash area is in the same great condition as the rest of the car. The dash itself is not age faded. It is very hard to find a Metro where the dash is not faded away or dried out. Being a 2000 model this Geo does have the dual front SRS airbags for safety. Most importantly here in summer, the AC is blowing nice and cold. AC was an expensive option for these cars and the 1.3-liter models were the only ones that the AC worked well with. The stock AM/FM stereo works. All the gauges are working. The headliner is looking fine. The only thing I’m missing is the owner’s manual. Overall we were very happy with this interior! This ’00 Metro LSI has only 117K miles on it. It is hard to find better miles on one of these little economy cars that are 10 years old. They will run forever with simple maintenance so this one is barely broken in. Look at this SWEET, clean hatch area! The struts are holding up great! With the rear seat folded down you would be surprised at how much you can carry in one of these little cars! This is a very nice interior considering it’s age and the very low mileage on the car! Inexpensive economical cars like this normally get hard use from their owners and it is very RARE to find an interior in this kind of condition! Under the hood is the very fuel efficient 1.3-liter four cylinder engine. This is the one of the highest EPA rated fuel economy gasoline car motors ever made in the US market. It starts and runs great with no leaking or smoking! This engine is reliable and very inexpensive to maintain! It gives great torque and is still rated to return excellent fuel economy even by today’s standards! You can see how clean everything is! We didn’t even clean this one. It came to us looking this nice. The automatic transmission felt great. This car gave us zero problems in the driving we did in it. We wouldn’t hesitate to drive this car anywhere! The West Virginia Temporary Tag is good for 60 days and can be issued to buyers with proper identification and proof of insurance. The fee for a temporary tag is $100. No used car is 100% perfect, no matter how well it was cared for. Remember that small blemishes or issues may exist that we have not noted. We do NOT examine every vehicle under a microscope, so small dings, scratches, chips, paint fade, windshield chips, washer motors, bushings, defrosters, loose trim, previous rust or damage repairs, missing trim, loose headliners, missing radio buttons, etc may not be noted, and we will not discount a vehicle because something like this is not noted in the description. After a vehicle is purchased and then put under a microscope by the buyer doesn’t mean we knew of, or take responsibility for, flaws that we were not aware of when listing the vehicle. It is insulting to us that someone would think we would violate federal law and not disclose that a car has sat on the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico. Our descriptions, including vehicle features, are listed as accurately as possible, although we are not responsible for typographical errors in the listing. We cannot/will not guarantee systems like Air Conditioning. A vehicle’s air conditioning system may operate fine when we check the vehicle and the not when you come and pick it up. This happens if a system has a small leak that we have no way of knowing about, especially when a vehicle sits. The same thing applies to stereos. We will not reimburse for or perform any air conditioning system repair on any vehicle, even if the system is listed as working and it does not when you pick up the vehicle. This also applies to power options (windows, locks, seats, mirrors, radios, climate control, entertainment systems, etc) Being that these are used vehicles, not all original equipment is always included with the vehicle. Items including, but not limited to, extra keys, owners manuals, new car smell, spare tires (jacks, wheel tools), remotes, CD changer magazines, and floor mats, may not be included with the vehicle. The seller will not pay for these items if they are not there, or remove them from another vehicle. Most of these items can be purchased from a dealer or auto parts store very cheaply. Any issue either currently present or occurring in the future, whether disclosed in the listing or not, will be sole responsibility of the buyer, and the seller will NOT reimburse for any expenses incurred, or discount the purchase price! A 20-year old car with 150,000 miles, even in the best of shape, is still 20 years old and still has 150,000 miles. Many of these vehicles may have never made a long trip, or have not been driven far in awhile. We do our best to accurately disclose all issues, but we have no way of knowing if anything will fail during a trip. When we list a car on eBay we are aware of it being a national marketplace.
