You are bidding on a classic example of BMW history, the rare 1974 BMW 2002 Tii (fuel-injected) 4 speed. Good ownership history, lots of original documents, including the original window sticker (see pics). Also equipped with factory air conditioning, prior owner suggested that it was in working order but it will require a new compressor. Description as follows: Mechanical: Runs and drives well, fuel injected 4 cylinder, 4 speed manual transmission, maintenance performed within the last year includes: New rear brake lines, new front caliper and pads, Crane cams, XR700 electronic ignition, 4 new wheel cylinders and bearings, new battery, new Bosch blue coil, new exhaust system with Ansa resonator and Magnaflow muffler, all new hoses, including the buried kugglfischer oil hose. Rebuilt shifter and linkage, brake and clutch system flushed and pressure-bled, new JVC MP3/CD/IPOD deck with 4 DB series speakers. Interior: I believe 90% of the interior to be original, typical small crack in dash, overall interior condition is still presentable and useable, but should be redone to be considered excellent. Exterior: One repaint to its original Malaga Red color. Somewhat of an amateur repaint performed a number of years ago, once again still presentable and useable, however it has several nicks, chips, and scratches, some paint bubbling over the rear quarter, and it appears the rear shock towers have had some work, nothing major. Rockers will also need repair or replacement. This is a great car to drive and restore, and certainly a great investment.
