Vehicle Detail
2003 Dodge Ram SLT Quad Cab 4WD. I bought this truck about 2 1/2 year ago as a 3rd vehicle/home depot runner/dirt bike hauler. It's been a fantastic truck, I'm only selling it because I just bought a brand new 2010 Ram. I have had great luck with these trucks, my first one is still running with over 250,000 on it! Interior: The interior is in excellent condition, I would say a 9 on a 10 scale, maybe higher. There is one small hole in the drivers seat and a few small scratches in a few trim pieces here and there. The back seat is perfect, as is the front passenger. Everything works, power windows, locks, CD, etc. I have added a full set of Weathertech mats which fit perfectly. No funny smells or anything, I don't smoke nor do I allow anyone who does to smoke in any of my vehicles. Exterior: I tried to take a bunch of pictures of the outside. There are quite a few scratches around the outside. Most of them came from my hauling branches from our yard when a bunch of trees fell down in a freak storm. There is a dent in the right side back bumper, and a dent in the lower left rear quarter, also pictured, along with a dent in the top of the bed, all from an overzealous tractor operator loading me with some mulch for my yard. Overall the paint still has a nice shine and the truck is a classic "ten-footer", it looks near perfect from ten feet away! I would rate the outside a 7 out of 10, but it still looks nice in my opinion for a 7 year old truck with 113k on the clock.Mechanical: The 4.7 starts and runs perfectly. No leaks, smoke, etc. There have been times that the truck will sit in my garage for a month with no use, turn the key and it starts like it ran an hour previously. It runs, drives, shifts, brakes, etc perfectly. The 4WD works flawlessly. I just had my mechanic go thru the truck from one end to the other and fix any and all issues found. I spent nearly $1500.00 to make it as perfect as possible. New a/c compressor and evaporator, ball joint, repaired sticky emergency brake, and some other picky items. I'm not afraid to spend $ on my vehicles to keep them running forever. Other: The truck has a Mopar bedliner, sliding rear window and side steps, all installed by the previous owner. The only thing the truck will need is tires. They have some life left, they will maybe get you thru the summer. I did not replace them because tires can be subjective, so I will leave that decision up to the new owner. I have priced the truck accordingly. KBB says $9370.00 for a "good" condition private seller, I have set the reserve much less than that. I have the title in hand, truck is ready to go. You are more than welcome to come drive it, have it inspected, etc. Please have funds ready to go, serious bidders/buyers only. Email or call me with any questions, 603-944-6631.Thanks, Jon
