I've had this truck since 96 and it has served me very well. Most miles are hwy and was serviced regulary. The reason im selling is i have another truck and i was useing this one to pull a baler home one day and the tranny acted up. I think its the torque converter or a vacum issue . It will go when you start out in first and go up the gears but not right away in drive. This is the first issue i've ever had with the tranny. I just changed the radiator because the original was flaking out ( the fins were old and dry.) The four wheel drive works the way it should , a/c is very cold and the heat works great as well. Tires are next to shot was getting ready to replace when this happened.The body is in real good shape with minor rust and peeling. The only bad spot is the drivers side rocker panel and that corner of the cab has a small area that has a rust spot. The cap pictured on the truck is being sold seperatly , and may be purchased by high bidder or call and ask about it , and please call with any questions . This truck will start rught up with the turn of the key and uses minimal oil between changes . Also the battery is like new purchased in the spring of 09, its a 6 yr battery i THINK! The rear step bumper has rust spots on it ( see Pic ) The bed is in real good shape has little rust around wheel wells but it surface rust, it has a 360 motor with 410 gears interior is in good shape also dash has small crack and seats have always been covered. headliner was replaced in 03.also it has the slider rear window for access to the rear. Im trying to tell ya all i can think of cause this truck has treated me very well and if i had the extra cash id have it fixed , but other things have come up so im selling it . Like i said i'm guessing at the problem with it it may be more severe or less severe , and you can start it up on the spot and it will drive onto a trailer but until the tranny issue is checked out i wouldnt say it would make it any distance for sure ,. 417 770 2408
