Vehicle Detail
You are looking at 1968 Bonneville bobber. The bike has a bolt on hardtail,18 inch aluminum rear wheel ribbed, the tire is an old goodyear. The rear fender is an old Jap bike front fender turned around. The rear is drum brake.Has a Spring seat. The tank is a wassell,it has been sealed inside and painted House of Kolor Kandy Kopper with flake. It has two new brass petcocks.I think the front end is from a 70's jap bike,Gran Turismo grips,it has a 21 inch spool wheel with an old goodyear speedgrip tire.I have the front wheel with brakes and master cylinder, winner can choose either wheel if you would rather have brakes. The bike has new pegs. The engine runs good, has battery eliminator, still has the points.everyone says to switch to the boyer ignition,if I keep it I will. The bike takes 2-5 kicks cold to crank, then one kick when warm. This bike is really cool and fun to ride,by no means a show bike or restored correct original, leaks a little oil, wheels are a little crusty the tires have some cracks,The pipes are dingy,I ride around like it is.I prefer the bike be picked up,but I will work with you on crating or shipping,at your expense of course. My feedback is excellent, bid with confidence and feel free to ask questions.I will not reveal the reserve, but I will tell you it is MUCH cheaper than the buy it now on the other triumph bobbers on here.I have a clear title. The bike is for sale locally and I will end the auction early if it sells. Thanks for looking and good luck! --old school rigid hardtail chopper vintage rat ratrod british lowbrow bates
