I built this bike last year. The sheet Metal is made of aluminum and it was hand fabbed by me. the motor runs good, may need a little tweaking with the carbs to get it to run great. It was featured in cafe racer magazine a couple of months back. It has new high performance tires, battery, rebuilt front brake, chain, front and rear sprocket, and a custom hand built seat by me here at Rich Phillips cycles. It is a total blast to ride, whips around corners and tears up any Harley on the road. The mileage read 18,000 something, when I removed the speedo. I have maybe put another 2000 or so on it. The bike looks amazing stting just like it is but it could use a bit of refinishing on some of the old painted parts. Doesnt leak oil. I rode this bike through the mountains in Tennessee last year and it was an amazing ride on this machine. I love the bike but I am running out of room for my expanding motorcycle parts business. It is a real oppurtunity to own a true work of rideable amazing art. the entire elactrical system is located under the rear cowel including the harley v-rod batterry. Electrically this machine is as sound as they come. The carbon fiber muffler is for a 2007 yamaha r6 or something. the carbs just need to be jetted a little differently to warm up faster and idle better. it starts and runs fine but it could be a tad better. Just a word to the wise, If you decide to buy any bike this old you better be able to accept the fact, that the carbs are gonna need some work now and then.
