Rare 1957 Ford Thunderbird Convertible ---equipped with "E" code features This is an absolutely gorgeous , highly sought after authentic 1957 Thunderbird . Car was rebuilt from bottom to top and is in near perfect condition. "E" Code models of the same year featured a 312 cubic inch overhead valve V8 motor with dual Holley carburetors, capable of producing 270 horsepower. This car is equipped with those 'E" code features. Car includes black convertible soft top, fender skirts, Kelsey-Hayes Wheels, Coker Classic Tires, remarkable chrome bumpers, grills, mirrors, etc.... custom fit car cover and tonneau cover . This car was purchased at the RM Auto Auction in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2008, as a 1957 Thunderbird -'E" code equipped. You can view the result of the auction at the RM Auto Auction website. Only 200 miles were driven on it since the purchase. It has been shown at 6 local car shows winning best in show at all 6. Car is kept in a weather free garage at all times.
