I have a collection of V6 cavaliers, at least 1 has to go! I bought this one at an auction with a broken dipstick and 2 gallons of oil in it to keep it from knocking! First trip to town spun all the rod bearings. I'd already started to rebuild a series 2 3100 (roller cam and rockers) so thats what I put in it. The 3100 has at least 50 more HP than the old 3.1! I also had trouble getting the original transmissions to hold up to it so I converted it over to a 5 speed. This thing will hit 60 in way less than 6 seconds, AND keep you pushed back in your seat untill 100 MPH! Its dirty in the pics because I like an adrenaline rush now and then. Our family has come to know it as the little green monster. We'll be sorry to see it go. (Maybe it won't) I have more than a dozen vehicles and something has to go. I'm outta parking spots. The Bad no ABS no cruise no air no stereo no convertor All but the ABS could be fixed.
