1986 944 Porsche For Sale Condition: The paint and interior are in very good condition. The A/C has had repair work done to it, but it is not operable at this time. There are 2 cracks in the dashboard. The left rear panel has a slight dent. The hood has a very small ding that has been touched up. The wiper fluid system does not appear to be operable. Aftermarket HID lights have been installed. Pioneer stereo system has been installed. Tires are in good condition. Rims are in fair condition. Seats have no cracks and are in very good condition. No rust. Aftermarket air filter installed. The clutch is in good condition. The driver side door handle pulls out a little when opening the door. History: The car has had the following work done to it recently: Replaced A/C compressor, belt, receiver dryer, high side A/C hose, and relay. Added modern A/C conversion kit. Replaced balance shaft belt, cam belt, auxiliary shaft roller, balance shaft belt, timing belt tensioner, timing belt roller. I have received several emails asking me if I think the bidder would be able to drive the car to another part of the country without any problems. I cannot answer that question. I am not a mechanic and any reply I would provide is pure speculation on my part. However, I recently drove the car from MA to VA non-stop without any problems (~9 hours). Please keep in mind that this automobile is 24 years old and has not been restored to its original showroom new condition. If this makes you feel uncomfortable driving the car some distance after the auction is complete, then please make arrangements to have the car delivered to your location by some other means.
