Vehicle Detail
This Porsche 912 is being sold as a "Used Vehicle" and it is not new. It is a perfect restoration project or, with some minor work, can be fixed up as a daily driver. This Porsche is currently registered as a "Non-Operational" vehicle. I was last driven as a daily driver in 2007. The engine has not been started since 2007, but it does turn. This Porsche will need to be towed. There is some rust in the usual places for this type of car. I can send photos of any part of the car upon request. The front hood mechanism (to open from inside of the car) needs to be replaced, and the driver and passenger window regulators need to be rebuilt in order to work correctly (roll up and down). One of the sunvisors need to be fixed (several extra visors and parts are included with the car). The car does have a few litle dents and dings but otherwise straight body, The car can be inspected and it is best to reach me by phone: Geoff @ 424-903-9669, Palos Verdes Peninsula, Los Angeles, CA. I might not be able to respond to email inquiries promptly, so it is best to reach me by phone. I do have some eperience with international sales and shipping in case overseas buyers are interested, but definitely conact me in advance. CASH, DIRECT DEPOSIT TO MY BANK ACCOUNT OR PAYPAL ARE THE ONLY ACCEPTED FORMS OF PAYMENT. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT ANY AND ALL PAYPAL OR ANY OTHER BANK EXCHANGE OR TRANSFER FEES WILL BE PAID BY THE BUYER AND NOT BY ME. IMPORTANT NOTE; BUYER TO PAY $1,000.00 DEPOSIT WITHIN 24 HRS OF AUCTION. BUYER TO PAY REMAINDER OF AUCTION PRICE WITHIN 3 DAYS OF CLOSE OF AUCTION OR BUYER WILL FOREFIT DEPOSIT. IF THE BUYER IS UNAVAILABLE TO PICK UP/TOW THE CAR UPON COMPLETION OF SALE, I CAN MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO HAVE IT STORED AT IS PRESENT LOCATION FOR UP TO ONE MONTH. THE SELLER OF THIS PORSCHE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY COSTS OR RESPONSIBILITIES REALTED TO SHIPPING, TOWING, PUSHING, MOVING OR TOUCHING THIS PORSCHE BY ANY MEANS, OR IN ANY WAY AFTER THE CLOSE OF THE AUCTION. I am willing to allow anyone to inspect the car upon request. The best way to find out details about the car is to call me. I have made all types of possible communicaion with me available. This Porsche is mostly originall, which is rare for an early Porsche 912. The chrome is in really good shape! The car has a lot of good parts for a 912, or 911 of the same year.
