Vehicle Detail
Get it now before the IRS comes after it. I owe the IRS this year and must unwillingly part with my dream project car. It is a 1968 Chevy El Camino. Yea, I know it looks bad, but it runs! 350 4-spd, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, Holley 600, enhanced HEI, ported 170 CC iron heads with 2.02 intake 1.60 exhaust valves and roller rockers, headers and custom exhaust with a 3" Warlock muffler. It also has a 10 bolt rear with somewhere between 3.23 and 3.55 gears. Currently, I completed a full front end PST poly graphite suspension package. I tried converting the brakes to disc but was sold the wrong spindles. Of course, I didn't figure this out until I had it back together. The tie rods don't fit and I have tried about 6 different pairs. Talk about being so close and yet so far!!! Summit sells the manual brake kit I need for $449 and it needs the correct the lower ball joints. That is all it needs to make it drivable. I just don't have the money and am moving to a smaller place. I personally have over $5500 in the car, but I can't prove it. The driver side floor pan was replaced and I have a new carpet for it. It comes with a Wolff car cover. I bought it in California during the economic boom when Muscle Cars were becoming scarce and paid too much for it. I drove it all the time in California before I moved to Virginia and it failed inspection for suspension and brake issues. It was a blast to drive and will probably be even better with the new suspension. I am truly bummed about this but have to let go. Car will need to be towed, buyer is responsible for moving. I am advertising this locally and reserve the right to cancel the auction in the event of sale. If you have less than a 10 on feedback, email me before bidding. I don't have time for scammers! I have the lowest priced 1968 El Camino on eBay and no reserve. Please bid responsibly and get your next project car today!!!
