we have here a very nice,original paint time machine. this bike has had very good storage the life of it so far. this bike was sold new at a dealer near me that i purchased a cb 750f from them new in 1977. the 450 starts and rides like a nearly new 450 honda did 37 years ago.everything works as it should, horn, turn signals etc... there is a ding on the tank and f. fender, shown in the pics (i hope). this bike has the original tires i believe, and a new battery. the front hydraulic brake was just fully rebuilt. we are located 45 miles from mid-ohio and can stoe until then. bid with confidence as this bike will not disappoint.On Jun-30-10 at 08:36:12 PDT, seller added the following information: well now, this auction lost some steam. we put a reserve on this bike what a similar,but lesser, bike sold for. this bike has very beautiful paint, original and NOT faded. the pic makes the ding in the tank look bigger than it is but in all honesty the ding in the front fender doesn't hardly show up in the pic. our '68 BMW r50/2 has some nasty chips in the paint but they were there 31 yrs ago when i bought the bike and i just like the original paint too much to repaint it. we hope you would feel the same way with this bike as the original paint it too nice to repaint, regardless of the ding. of course this is just our opinion but we also wanted to stress just how nice this bike is, for it's age. oh, we almost failed to mention that there's 2 ignition keys with it too. for those who were bidding on some of the other low mileage 450's, our reserve is set well below what the other bikes sold for even tho this bike could be as nice as those are, depending on how important originality is to those bidding.
