1992 Suzuki GSX-R

This was my friend Bill's bike and he needed money sop I bought it. I already have a garage full of motorcycles but thought this would be a cool bike. It is a cool bike but I don't have room or time for it. I recently bought an 09 ZX6R and have started racing it and want to use the money for more race parts. This bike has been down but is not structurally damaged. It is a scratch and dent model for sure, but..there are no cracks in the frame, nothing is bent or twisted. Very solid and stout bike. The body work is waisted and an aftermarket light is on it with high and low beams. New turn signals work and all brake lights etc. work good. I ride this around the block to keep it running and it has a flat spot at a certain speed if you give it too much gas. Bill said it did this for him each spring until he put a few hundred miles on it and it did run well for him. It starts instantly and has a real revvy instant throttle response, sounds great. The flat spot is only noticeable at higher speed but could be solved with a carb kit. There are foam covers on the carbs now and I have a stock airbox and filter to go with it. It has a complete Yoshimura Pipe, 5.5 rear wheel, modern full size sportbike tires: 180, 120, upside down forks. No one would know it is that old as it has all the modern running gear. It is very light and was the last year before the dreaded water cooled models which were extremely heavy until they were redesigned in the late 90's. Make it what you want! Vintage Race, street fighter? Ride it as it is, it has a clean title and is in my hands. Not a salvage or R title.
