Thihs is a very strong 1986 Corvette that came with an estate that I purchsed in East Ohio. I am an auctioneer and this was part of the complete estate. They tell me they liscensed the car every year but did not drive it hardly. the owner was an elderly man and for most of the past 4 years it just sat in a garage. I had a mechanic check the car over completely. The engine is strong and the transmission is in good condition. The body is solid and no sign of any damage repairs or new paint. The engine valve covers have newer Edlebrock chrome covers. All the nelectric parts appear to be working properly from the windows to the seats.,The seats are in very nice shape and no cracking.The carpet may be a little faded in the back, the carpet on the doors is reaaly faded but I have new carpet for the doors.The antennae is broken off the motor so only a few channels can be picked up. It doeas have a cassette player and a cd changer in the back compartment. The lights work perfect up and closed. There may be a small paint ding here or their but nothing distracting or major, just normal wear.The car has the blackout kit for the tail lights and front back turn signals.Has a targa roof with the ratchet and removes with no problems. The roof has a small crack in the plastic about 3". Roof does not leak but I wouold replace the weather strip soon because it looks old. The tires on the front are new, the tires on the back are aout 30% with some signs of dry rot. The engine is clean and runs smooth, I don't think I would have a problem driving it anywhere. The air isn't cold and could use a little charging. The glove box arm rest is loose and faded. The arm rests on the door are also worn. Overall this is a very nice car with plenty of good potemtial with a little work. I don't know what these are worth but I think my price should be a very reasonable price for a driveable strong Corvette.
